Finally a Proper Fight for The Authority: The Authority vs Balrog (LOTR)

The Balrog via invulnerabiltiy, Low-Godly Regen, Type 1, 3, and 4 immortality (The latter from a being that is "At the very least 2-C"), resistance to death and fire manipulation, intangiblity, etc.

Invulnerability, unless its stated to work on higher level attacks, is usells aganst someone of higher tier.

"Type 4 immortality from a higher being is auto restrcted"

Okay.

"Invulnerability, unless its stated to work on higher level attacks, is usells aganst someone of higher tier."

He is invulnerable to conventional harm. That means you need magic or powers like soul manipulation to hurt him. The Authority probably could hurt him, but he would first have to go trhough his whole list of abilities. And by that point he will probably be hit a dozen times. Also, intangibility doesn't care about tier.
