Why is Super Bomberman R considered a reboot? This seems to be entirely baseless. An older thread talking about it seemed to base it off of the fact that he thought Bomberman seemed weaker in the game, but that's a bad reason.

False Reboot

The original one is a robot, too. The plot of Lode Runner in the manual, which is a game made just after the original Bomberman, is that it takes place after Bomberman became a human while he was a robot in Bomberman.

Oh, then I can´t tell, but it overall, if there´s absolutely nothing that actually makes the "fake reboot" be separate, then it´s canon.
Otherwise we would be getting stuff like countless Sonic incarnations because the power level was denotably different between games (Which, as you can see, this isn´t something that should really even be considered in the first place)
However, because this already happened, input from staff is needed.

there two bombermens one is a human and one is a robot two different characters so its a reboot the reboot is weaker and the the original character is stronger the story of the reboot is different.

Bomberman has always been a robot. Read the manual to the original Bomberman and the manual to Lode Runner. They very clearly describe him as being a robot that wants to become human.
