The one second timeframe seems really wanked.

Well the speed has sense since weakened Erza isn't that far away from that speed, but this is something calculation group knows how to handle...
Plus that 1 second honestly I would say like 5-10 seconds to make it legit but you need to ask for evaluation.
Thou again there is nothing in between and we already see everyone looking at the sky so I don't know...

Because it clearly wasn't anything over that.
He stated "here and now I shall commit one more sin" straight after that the clouds dispersed, no reason to use anything higher than 1 second

Also using the 1 panel = 1 second rule we get the same. There are more factors pointing towards one second than others.

If you refuse, then we simply won't use the calc. 1 sec is just inflate the results.

I think 30 to 10 seconds is reasonable. I prefer 10 seconds more then 30 but both are fine. I'm not behind 1 or 2 seconds

I also think 10-30 seconds is too long. While I agree that 1 second might be pushing it, it should be at least 5 seconds. Anything more than that seems illogical to me

So you are telling me Neinhart realized what Jellal was doing 5 Seconds early, everyone stopped what they were doing for 5 seconds straight and just waited? So if anything that is illogical.

^That's why there was a thread about this apparently. Assuming timeframes when we already have them from an anime adaption is kinda stupid if you ask me.
