Reishi

What is Reishi?

• Reishi or spiritual particles, is what composes matter in the spiritual world. [1]
• The reishi make up spiritual bodies (souls). [1]
• Reishi is equivalent to Kinshi, which in turn, composes the human world and physical bodies. [1]

In a more basic way, it can be said that, Kinshi are atoms e Reishi are 'spiritual atoms'.

Sklaverei
Sklaverc that allows the Quincys to enslave the reishi.

• According to Mayuri, Ishida can break the bonds between Reishi and absorb, making reishi become part of its own power. [1] [2]
• Quincys absorb the Reishi and use it as a source of power. [1]
• It remarkable in any situation of absorption of reishi, the matter 'disappears' completely and that the user has a relevant power impact. [1] [2]

Goryütenmetsu
The ocean created by Aura: "Aura had transformed the surrounding air! She had reconstructed the atmosphere all at once. Instead of the gray sky, there was now gray water. The sky above Karakura had been turned into an 'ocean'. The two shinigami looked up to see this extraordinary sight and screamed unexpectedly."

The use of Hado 99: ""Yes, he's using Hado number 99: Goryutenmetsu!"
Urahara's Hado cleaved through the sky. The five pillars of light which resembled dragons, were composed of spirit energy. Originally, this Kido was a forbidden one, that swallowed up reiatsu while crushing its surroundings. Urahara's Kido hacked the reiatsu of the soul that Aura drew out from the atmosphere and he used it as a surplus to enhance the Goryutenmetsu. Aura's face displayed slight surprise.

• The absorption of the soul (Reishi) of the Ocean: Urahara's Kido hacked the reiatsu of the soul that Aura drew out from the atmosphere.
• The use of the soul (Reishi) to increase the power of Goryutenmetsu: used it as a surplus to enhance the Goryutenmetsu.
• The use of energy absorbed previously to vaporize the ocean: When the three-colored dragons crossed in the sky, an explosive vapor of water rose and buried the whole area with the newly created white color.

Mass-energy conversio should only be used for a calculation if it is clearly stated that this is the progress used. I believe that if there is a consensus, E = MC┬▓ can be used in feats of the Sklaverei and Goryütenmetsu.

This is unlikely to be accepted, i've seen someone try to use it for Toshiro.

The wiki requires a direct statement to use that formula because they results are incredibly high.

I can see a case for Sklaverei but definitely not for Hadō 99. It simply absorbs the surrounding reiatsu, it doesn't convert reishi into reiatsu.

This is correct, yes.

Except that's not how it works. It simply states that it absorbs the reiatsu from the soul. In other words, the reiatsu exerted from the souls.

Reiatsu is just the physical manifestation of Reishi and Reiryoku. The physical manifestation of energy.
