Isnt it possible to dodge real lightning that doesn't come from Dragons and the like?
Not in a way that doesn't seem like a gameplay mechanic from my memory.
  • The cloud to ground lightning bolts are hitscan and if you don't I-frame it they will always hit you in their highlighted zone
  • The electric orbs don't have any lore afaik so I don't think they can qualify for MHS+ lightning speeds
  • The lightning attacks tend to be people swinging lightning bolts which rely on their speeds rather than anyone elses
I guess if we're like, super desperate we can say that anyone comparable to Malenia are subsonic+ to super sonic based on this calc

what about laser beams that placidusax shoots of his mouths during the boss fight? but should take it with a grain of salt.
From memory they follow under this
The lightning attacks tend to be people swinging lightning bolts which rely on their speeds rather than anyone elses
His plasma breath is incredibly fast, but they're also based on it aiming them and all that. The Tarnished would be far slower than the beams themselves.

Placiducax is pretty much the same thing, he's far above most people in the game canonically so I don't know if we can put lower people on the same level. Plus, his breath has a big focus on aim, more than speed I would say

what about the elden beast moving as fast as taking light 250 million years to travel the entire Laniakea Supercluster from one end to another? I am giving up this is straight outta my google results.

sersly, i am 100% certain this is not gonna fly. I am giving up. i am really not happy of grasping for a speed feat.

Well having your designed be based on something doesn't mean you're the size of that object.

Even if the interior of the Elden Beast contained those things, then they would just be an internal smaller dimension within it that wouldn't translate to its real form speed.

i think we got sidetracked because of the other debates, feats and stuff around when Mr. Bambu was posting months ago.
before i joined the forum, i have been keeping an eye on this thread and the general discussion thread about elden ring.

Now time to bring up the arguments for low 2-C and cause the thread to take even longer

What are the low tier things gonna scale from btw, like early game Tarnished, I saw tier 7 and 8 above but idk what the feats are

I'd rather have to wait a long time for a dlc to be sure it'll be good than having dlc that is either meh or just good but still not worthy of the game
elden ring dlc wasn't shown off at Summer Fest 2022 because maybe it's too early. but DLC for elden ring will likely follow the patterns of previous dlcs and their respective cases.

Its not really important. Just giving them combat speed and vaguely normal human travel speed is fine.

Lifting strength would be doors I guess. Since I don't know what else they could be besides giant monster sizes.

i disagree because the following post explains the reasoning.

Athletic Human TS maybe? Or Superhuman, we're talking about demigods, dragons and other similar beings and superhuman could fit the idea
