in sonic unleashed eggman stated that he harnessed dark gaia's energy to create the egg dragoon

which means that the egg dragoon should scale to dark gaia, although base sonic was able to beat him in generations, it doesn't mean that he gets downgraded to 7-B, it means that base sonic should get upgraded to 5-A.

note: the one in generations is an upgraded version of the egg dragoon because dr eggman stated that he went back to the past to undo his PREVIOUS defeats which included the egg dragoon.

Outliers exist and Classic Sonic defeated it by using simple rocks, that means that this Egg Dragon is far weaker than the others fought by Sonic since Gaia was destroyed a long time ago. Classic Sonic will be 8-A+.
