It's not really a port though it's an expansion of sorts. A lot of stuff has been changed and new additions and redactions and whatnot.

YES. I know this local Smash guy who isn't very good and doesn't win often but is a real pain for the rest of us by playing Kirby, running away from fights, dodging all the time, and using dirty tricks like eating people and jumping off or wombo-combo/kill stealing with the rock. Your days are numbered, bucko....

Yeah. He has has badass render, but the only major changes i saw are only his side, up [taken from Ike] and down sword based smashes, and he is still seems slow.

Only sad thing about Smash Bros. Ultimate is that the best mod in the history of everything ever will be overshadowed by it. I urge you all to check this out in the meantime. It is bliss.

While everybody else is caught up in the excitement of everyone's favorite characters coming back (I'm surprised no one has talked about Ice Climbers yet), I'm gonna daydream about how awesome it'll be to play as the Inklings and Ridley.

Lucky you @Starter. As someone who's owned and played all of the smash games at some point (Including both the 3ds and Wii U version of smash 4), all of these are just returning characters to me. Don't get me wrong I'm super excited that everyone's coming back, but I would have preferred some more newcomers if I had to choose. (Also never cared much for the Ice Climbers personally.)
