Durability of the Gems

Lifting Strength generally also counts as an AP feat because it is generally done physically, or by the character's own powers, which means it can likely be translated into an attack, while Aquamarine's wand on the other hand was specifically made to restrain, and it was never shown to be able to use this strength into actual damage, it wasn't made to attack.

Yes actually it is, its a standard we use on this wikia. downgrading one verse for using it while allowing all other verses to keep it is a double standard

Yes that standard. You do not need to cause damage in order to have an AP rating. A weapon that restrains the opponent has an AP value.

Ehh, yeah you need to cause the amount of destruction of perform the equivalent of energy in order to scale to AP; do not cause destruction? Do not cause damage? Then is not AP and more (possibly) Lifting Strength, lifting someone do not scale to the durability of the one being lifted, and paralysis inducement is unrelated to both AP and LS.

Why is this such the big deal? You Weekly known that this wouldn't change anything, is more a misconception than a downgrade; in vsthread it will act in the same way.

Because its not lifting strength, its AP. Hell even going by the lifting strength it would need to be able to restrain Alexandrite it would still have High 6-A AP

But that strength can't be translated into damage, once Aquamarine restrains a High 6-A, she has literally no way to even scratch them; her wand is not meant to attack, it's made to specifically restrain, therefore, it isn't Attack Potency.

Aquamarine's Wand induce paralysis, so it do not need to have higher AP to paralyses her; that's the first part, taking that into account, she just need to have a LS higher than Alex's weight. AP is not involved cuz attack to not cause damage nor direct destruction.

Not now, a few minutes from sleeping, would need to known until tomorrow.

Also, the justification about the gems should be changed too, if still sticking with the mass-energy convertion you need to alter the calc and use the gemstone density rather than steel.

@Antonio Its not using steel its using water
Still wrong tho. Using their standard size would also be more fitting, since increasing would make then stronger than they normally are.

Tier 6 Gems

I'd prefer if the feat was actually calced rather than just compared to another feat as Cal brought up a feat that would make it bare minimum High 7-A

I can make an instant high-end here: I'm not that aware of the actual revision, but I think that the standard radius of storms is now 20 - 50 km, lets use 50 km; lhe highest temperature registered in spain is 47.3 C, and le lowest is -32 C; finally, assume that the highest point of freezing is upper limit of cumulonimbus clouds (I think blizzards use that clouds). So finally: pi*50000^2*12000*1000*1.25*(47.3 + 32) = 9.34*10^18 J = 2.233 gigatons (Island level). Hoh, so the possibilitu is still there.

At most 6-C, calc is highballed by the sake of experimentation, using real values with small possibilities (no way a great part of Sapin would have temperature of 47.3 C), and generally we use the lower limit of clouds thickness (or at least that its how it was accepted in the blog).

How many 6-C feats are there even in the show? Because something like 'fights a sentient island' is rather vague.

Five or six, and multiple 6-B feats

Also its not the sentient island part that theyre scaled from, its the fact that it was flat out stated to be a tectonic emergency that solidifies the feat's legitimacy

Also, recalcing the Mass Energy Feats using the gemstone Density still yields Country level results, 34 Teratons to be exact

Huh... Is the E = mc^2 method for a character shapeshifting actually accepted? Because I think that loads of characters with the ability to shapeshift would become much, much more powerful is that was applied to them as well.
