From what I've been reading It's seems: DQ8 (PS2), DQ9 (DS) and now DQ11 (PS4/Switch) are games that first introduced folks to the series.

Luminary also has the ability to send someone back to their world. A form of dimensional travel, although that also goes into spoilers.

Honestly I'm pretty hyped for it. Dai no daiboken is a very underrated manga and I'd love a crossover with it and a mainline one day.

New anime for Dai no Daibouken. Loved that story as a kid and thoroughly enjoyed the manga itself when I finally found it some time ago. Was pretty surprised when I found out the anime covered less than a third of it.

Dai is a surprisingly strong kid but I don't know how well he fares with the protags of the games.
