Dragon Ball Super Discussion Thread 65: Because we still got the manga, the movie and the dub to discuss!

Someone doesn't have to Saitama you in order to "considerably overpower" you. Jiren held his own a bit but Goku clearly had the advantage. Then at that beam struggle Goku was clearly well above Jiren. Jiren was on the ground struggling to move, lost most of his physical and mental strength while Goku was standing there without a scratch (until the form ran out).

No they absolutely were not joking. I even saw people here seriously argue Jiren's on Angel level after seeing how GoD Toppo was total fodder to him.

Well, i guess those people dont know how big the gap between hakaishin tier and angel tier is.
 
Toriyama stated that the gap between Whis and Beerus was greater than the gap between Beerus and SSG. However that was in the BoG movie with the outdated "God Scale" when Beerus wasn't as ridiculously above Goku as he is in Super. I wouldn't still be surprised if they intend on keeping the angels that far above the GoDs though.

@Warren I don't mean literally infinite I just mean that the angels are ludicrously above the GoDs.
 
I would say that they are at least, at the very, VERY bare minimum, a couple dozens of time stronger than hakaishins. Thats a huge low ball in my book, but thats a safe bet.
 
Is there even any basis to grade the ridiculous inflation of the angels strenght? Aside from them being the God's teachers and Whis oneshotting beerus in a movie made in 2013.

Theres never been anything stated on how much more powerful the angels are from the hakaishins. All that we know is that they can effortlessly one-shot any hakaishin.
 
@Zenkai To me it's increased since now people act as if SSB couldn't solo all of GT no difficulty OVO
 
I actually haven't seen too much GT wank since the very early episodes of Super.

It's gone from "Pan could probably stomp Beerus via feats and scaling" to "BoG Saga SSG Goku atomizes all of GT via smacking Omega Shenron in the side of the head with his dick".

Both of these are actual comments I've seen.

You dont actually see it i believe. Its a dialoge after a mission in the game that has ssj4 goku state that his ssb counterpart was a step ahead of him.

I have a question. If the GT verse is accepted as the size of our universe here, why is the universal spirt bomb not 3-A, shouldnt the energy from everyone in the universe be universe level?
 
No. Why would it? The combined energy of all the people in the universe =/= the energy of the entire universe itself.
 
I never recall them ever saying it took energy from all the planets, stars and galaxies in the universe. Just from the people of the universe.
 
Well I of course could be wrong. If someone wants to rewatch GT (something I wouldn't dare do ovo) and see that'd be nice.
