Honestly I'd rather not have to turn my brain off with DB. I still end up doing it most of the time, but as we've seen before this franchise can be more complex when it wants to, and when that happens I'm happy. If the franshise as a whole was just a tad bit more adult and the writing a tad bit more detailed I'd die happy.

Believe it or not, I really like Dragon Ball. Super, more or less, but Dragon Ball as a whole is very fun. I don't mind turning off my brain to enjoy this, because it appeals to my younger self who just wants to see awesome fights. I mean sure, it's no A':TLA' or B':TAS', but it's good enough for millions of us to see the characters we grew up loving to continue their adventures.

I agree with Cal. Imaginative fun shows like Dragon Ball and One Piece make me and others less depressed and inspire us to continue fighting. In that way they are doing a lot of good for the world, even if they are not existential, depressing, and complicated as a mirror to reality.

I personally loved the TOP over the others, but in general all the arcs have great replay value to casual and hardcore fans Imo.

The ToP arc was my favorite in DB period. It was just a ton of fun for me. Every episode I looked forward to see what would happen and who'd get eliminated next.

For me it was the Future Trunks Arc with the Universe Survival Arc a close second

Having just this malicious version of Goku running around was extremely satisfying and that several of the remaining living future counterparts having to see someone they know and love act like that....the fact that Bulma was killed by someone who looked exactly like her oldest friend and that his was the last face she saw.....it was insane, Zamasu was a good break from other villains who were either a dick to be a dick like Frieza, bio engineered to be evil like Cell or was evil incarnate like Buu. He had a reason wanting to kill mortals and actually thought he was the good guy in all this.

And the Vegito vs Zamasu fight in the anime >>>>>>manga. Usually when Vegito or Gogeta take stage it's just a stomp but this actually made Zamasu feel like a legitimate threat even with Fusion or Potara, not just some punching bag for Vegito until he defuses

You know what I think would've been an interesting plot twist? If present Zamasu was actually good, so it would've thrown them off of Future Zamasu's and Goku Black's plan, and to have present Zamasu participate in fighting his future self, to see what he could've become if his morals slipped.

All at the same time ... Back to back succession . Yeah he's [busted] Keep in mind the PQ show how powerful the FW are after a set point in the story... And the Parallel Quests are introduced in story.... So they are good to use scaling wise to get a good idea of how powerful he is .

I think they are around or close Current FW1's level, but not above it. However Current FW1 is faaaaar above his Xenoverse 1 self, who is around Final Form Demigra's level who is stronger than Base Demigra who is baseline 2-B.

So yeah the masters are basically 2-B regardless.
