FATE/KALEID GT THE LEGEND OF THE GUARDIAN OF THE DRAGON BALLS:
Prologue "Dimensional Accident".
—You better hold onto that, Pan.
These were the words that came from the voice of the Saiyan Prince, that proud warrior who in earlier times rejoiced and delighted in killing anyone who had the aforementioned misfortune to cross his path, destroying planets everywhere.
That talented warrior whose destiny changed after a journey he made towards Earth in order to destroy.
There he met the man who would become his greatest rival, who changed him for the better, so much so that he even started a family, a purpose beyond killing and from whom he was able to learn the value of friendship.
A low-class warrior named "Kakaroto", Son Goku, as he was known by the nickname given to him by his now deceased grandfather named Gohan.
The warrior who encouraged Vegeta to surpass his limits had disappeared along with Shenlong, and that Planet which he once wanted to destroy, would now be the place he would be in charge of protecting.
That's right, the legendary warrior Son Goku ended his long adventure protecting the Earth for the last time.
Pan hugged her grandfather's Doji with great strength and lowered gaze, understanding that he would never return.
—Thanks for everything, grandpa—.
Inside her mind Pan muttered, trying not to burst into tears.
"How warm is Shenlong's back," Son said as he wrapped his infant body around Shenlong's immense back, whose serpentine figure left the earthly plane as it ascended among the endless clouds. After saying those words, the magic spheres entered his body one by one, a reminder that he had become its new guardian.
—The Earth no longer needs us, my friend Son Goku. You have defended this Universe even at the cost of your life—. The magical dragon of wishes said with a booming voice that denoted complete solemnity.
—A question, Shenlong. Do you know of any danger somewhere in the universe? —The black-haired child asked, to the surprise of the mythological being.
—I think this Universe will be fine, there will always be danger. But if something were to happen, there are still more than enough warriors on Earth to protect it. Don't you think so, friend?—.
The dragon of the spheres responded.
—I think you're right, hehe. Vegeta will definitely not stop training and will become even stronger. I'm a little worried about my children, they're a bit lazy when it comes to training, but maybe my departure will motivate them to surpass me one day—.
As the two of them spoke, they had already left the mortal plane and were now traveling through a space which had a peculiar characteristic. If it could be described in words, it was like a bright purple environment, whose length was constantly expanding as the dragon advanced, small nebulas and stars looming in the distance.
—Wow, what a strange place, where are we supposed to be now?—.
The Saiyan raised on earth questioned. His gaze was somewhere between curious and absorbed, combined with a hint of fascination for the extravagant beauty of the place.
—This is a dimensional hole. It's the tunnel that connects the world of the Dragons with the rest of the Universe. We're heading there right now.
The magic dragon revealed in a neutral voice, without taking off his sight of the front.
—Oh. I see...., the truth is, if I'm honest with you. I'm curious to see what your world is like—. Said the boy from Blue Doji who couldn't help but be fascinated by the idea of knowing a place alien to him. For a warrior that he was, going head-on into the unknown excited him in a certain way.
"You'll see when we get there, I'm sure you'll like it a lot," the dragon replied. For some reason, the Son perceived the tone of that statement as softer than the previous ones, but nevertheless he didn't pay much attention to it.
After saying that, the atmosphere fell into a relaxing silence.
Apparently, there was nothing more to say.
However, unexpectedly, and to the bewilderment of both, the temperature seemed to drop suddenly.
It was as if a bad omen was about to take shape.
The Son shrugged it off, however, in the case of the magic dragon it was a completely different situation. He spoke, revealing his obvious panic to the boy.
—Hold on tight to my back, and for God's sake, don't you dare let go of me at any time.
This statement caused an arched eyebrow on the serene brunette's face and he launched his question.
—What do you mean? Is something wrong, Shenlong?—
However, before he could get a concrete answer, a fleeting bolt of electricity passed inches away from the two, forcing the dragon to move to the side.
—What was that?!—.
Exalted, Bardock's son looked from side to side, trying to locate the origin, or the source of that phenomenon.
Suddenly, another lightning bolt identical to the previous one struck, again forcing Shenlong to maneuver.
—This can't be, did it have to happen right now?!—.
The green creature spoke, more to himself than to the Saiyan, as if he were thinking out loud.
—Do you know what's happening?!...,Tell me now, Shenlong!—.
The infant screamed, devoid of the serenity and harmony of before. The unusual and confusing nature of the situation was agitating him at a rapid pace.
—It seems we are going through dimensional turbulence—.
Bardock's son frowned at that vague answer, but it was enough for him to get an idea of what was going on.
Still, he wanted to ask for advice.
—Dimensional turbulence?—
—Yes Goku, as you heard. They are variations in the energetic composition of the environment within the dimensional loops and walls. They occur because every so often there is an overload of energy due to the number of times that dragons travel through this place to answer the call when we are summoned. Think of this as the alterations in the Earth's climate, when the atmosphere is overloaded, that is, it accumulates enough humidity and energy in the form of heat, rain and thunder can be generated.—.
The dragon explained, unable to pay much attention to Kakarot as he once again had to evade another incoming projectile.
Without warning, Shenlong found himself caught up in a chase of lightning. Now they were falling incessantly, threatening to damage his own existence and that of his companion.
—Woooaahh—.
The figure of Son howled in unbridled desolation while his humanity was shaken from side to side in time with the serpentine and erratic movements of the green being.
He did his best not to release his fierce grip on it.
However, his efforts were in vain. Maneuvering, Shenlong turned on his axis. The infant did not expect it, so he lost concentration for a few moments, such carelessness was enough for his body to be thrown in the opposite direction, falling into the void.
Upon realizing this, the magic dragon couldn't help but shout his name.
—GOOOKUUUUUU!!!!!!!!.....,NOOOOOOOOO!!!!—.
His booming voice echoed throughout the place.
As he descended, a black gap opened in space that was the size of a person.
The Saiyan tried to use his ki to stabilize himself, but it was too late, half of his body was going through said portal.
Just a few centimeters away from closing, Shenlong shrank considerably and managed to enter the boy.
It felt strange, too much so to say the least.
The wind hit his face, and his body rushed forward at great speed in what appeared to be the darkness of the night.
-Hey?!-.
The black-haired man looked down, mountains and a large forest stretched across the horizon, beside it, the countless lights of a large city were discernible among the surrounding darkness.
He was so lost in his cocktail of confusion and disbelief that the touch of the ground forced him back to reality.
—PLAAAAFFFFF—. A slight jolt hit the area.
The deafening impact raised dust and debris, resulting in a small crater.
He stood up subtly, rubbing the back of his neck in pain.
—Aiaiaiai, my little head—.
Again, his face twisted into a grimace of pure bewilderment.
Where the hell was he? He didn't recognize the place at all.
A forest?
He looked up, the tall treetops filtering the moonlight through the leaves.
Fireflies danced everywhere. The crickets, once silenced by the abrupt arrival of the sound, began to sing again. In general, the forest was returning to its usual course.
No matter how thoroughly he inspected the area, even without overlooking even the smallest detail, he was unable to accurately decipher his sudden location.
He did the most sensible thing, he tried to locate some known Ki signature, unfortunately, it didn't give the expected result either.
Instead, he couldn't help but open his mouth in disbelief as a type of alien energy entered his sensory range, completely unknown to him, not even resembling the concept of Ki.
The only similarity with the life energy he knew was that this strange power also seemed to emanate from the nature around him, including the air itself. If he could describe it more accurately, he would say that it is similar to an invisible layer of constantly moving energy which covers the entire Planet.
—Am I on earth?—
The Sayayín infant let his words get lost in the wind, not expecting a concise answer to his question while stranded in the middle of the vegetation.
—Goku, are you listening to me?
A sudden voice brought him out of his trance.
—Waaahh—.
He jumped in fright at the sudden call that echoed in his head.
—She, Shenlong?...., Is that you?—.
He turned his head in all directions to locate the source.
—Calm down, boy, I'm speaking to you from your mind. I'm inside your body, or rather, the spheres that you now house within you—.
The dragon's solemn voice echoed in the Saiyan's mind. Before the Saiyan could respond, the voice continued.
—I imagine you have many questions. Let me answer them....—.
He paused briefly before continuing. The low-class warrior's uncertainty and anticipation soared. He wanted to finally find out the reason behind all of this.
—If you're wondering why I'm inside you, it's because while you were falling through the portal, I managed to reach you in time and enter the spheres. If it weren't for that bond, it would have been impossible for me to do so.
Secondly, if I'm completely honest with you, I don't even know where you are right now. But judging by the composition of the air, the strange magical nature that seems to surround the energy of all living beings on this planet, and above all, how you got here through that gap in space-time, it's safe to say that we are in another Universe or reality outside of our own.
Also, this appears to be Earth, but of course not the one we know, which further reinforces the point.
Still, I feel like something doesn't quite add up—.
It took a few seconds before continuing.
Son digested the revelation relatively slowly. At first he believed he was on a planet located in the most remote corners of a distant galaxy, perhaps. But he never imagined anything as surreal as a literal change of Universes.
—Generally, if we were in another timeline, there would still be certain similarities with our world, such as the existence of Ki energy, the Kaioshin, or even alternative versions of ourselves and our acquaintances.
In fact, I don't even think this is our Multiverse. If there's one thing that characterizes one, it's that, despite the endless number of Universes that compose it, they still share basic common elements like the ones I mentioned above.
So yes, Goku, I'm afraid we're not even in any variation of Universe 7 anymore, not even those linked to it or its derivatives.
The Son fell silent.
He repeated what he had thought before, the situation was much, much more incredible than his mind was able to assimilate.
It was beyond imagination, and his efforts to try to put things into perspective and make sense of them were fruitless, to put it mildly.
On the one hand, he was overcome with growing uneasiness and nervousness at not having complete control over the situation, but on the other hand, genuine curiosity and Saiyan excitement were beginning to take their toll on him. Ever since he could remember, he had always loved taking on new challenges and challenges, the last time he traveled with Bulma to search for the Dragon Balls around the world.
A melancholic smile appeared on his face as he fondly recalled that.
And what better way than to fall into an unknown world full of potential strong rivals with whom he could fight?
—Don't even think about it, Goku. I know what you're thinking, that's very dangerous. Your presence alone is already a disastrous anomaly in this reality. I know you're dying to test the powers of someone here, but doing so would be too risky.
For starters, traveling between Universes is prohibited. Now imagine doing so between different Multiverses or dimensions. The consequences would be catastrophic.
Your mere interference in any key event in this world could greatly alter the natural flow of events. For example, changes in the personality of some individuals, deaths that should have happened and deaths that didn't, and even the possible destruction of the Planet itself.
The pointy-haired man lowered his head in regret, the gravity in Shenlong's words certainly affected him. He was right, he was like a magnet to attract trouble home, most of the villains who threatened the earth in one way or another always had some relation to him.
Looking at the raven's fallen face, the dragon spoke again.
—However, it doesn't mean that these changes are always bad. Do you remember when that boy from the future traveled back in time and saved your life? Indirectly, that prevented our timeline from experiencing the grim future where Androids exterminated humanity.
In fact, I was thinking of proposing to you the idea of traveling to another world that needed your help, but, this was rather inconvenient. It's a rather serious problem.
My original plan was to transport you to an alternate dimension of our Universe. Of course, that would be beyond my capabilities, so I would have borrowed half of your power so I could do it. I would have sealed the other half, although you would have regained that power over time.
This is very bad, you retain all your power intact. It is likely that the deities of this world have noticed your presence and the strength you wield, and, in response, they will take measures to protect their place and the order of things at any moment. I am sorry to tell you this, but, but your life is in danger, Son Goku. If the Gods of this dimension have enough power to rival you or even surpass you, and they attack you, I fear that not even I myself will be able to do anything to help you.
Knowing you, I guess you don't care much about that, right?
Bardock's son let out a small, carefree laugh, following which he replied.
—Hehehe, well, the truth is that I don't want to cause trouble, but if they attack me I won't just sit back and do nothing either. Avoiding combat isn't my style, and, I'm not going to lie to you, deep down I'm a little curious to know how strong the people of this world could be.
For a Saiyan, it was impossible to escape the biological reality of their race. Surpassing battles and fighting worthy adversaries were fundamental parts of their instinct as a warrior race.
—You never change, right?—
These words were accompanied by a sigh of suppressed indignation that reverberated in his mind.
He couldn't help but laugh again.
—Well, I know it's too late now, but I would recommend you reduce your Ki to a minimum so as not to attract any more unwanted attention—.
Shenlong's voice advised.
The Son nodded and then leveled his power to that of a simple Earthling.
—Well, since we are in an unknown wasteland, the important thing now is to gather as much information as possible—.
He mentioned the green dragon.
—Yes, I think I'll start with the city nearby.
The Sayayín answered happily, ready to embark on a new adventure.
However, before he could do anything, he sensed several presences whose level was considerably above that of the average human, and one of them seemed to be decreasing dramatically. His face immediately took on an expression that denoted complete seriousness.
—What is this?...., Shenlong, I think that can wait for now, something strange is happening and I must find out what—.
—No, wait Goku, don't be stupid, you know that if you intervene the damage will be irreparable!—.
The dragon's voice sounded more agitated than usual, influencing the events of foreign realities really was a delicate matter.
—Don't worry, I won't intervene unless necessary—.
The dark-haired man revealed himself as firm and resolute. Acting without thinking only brought more misfortune to him, the Earth and his friends. He was not going to make the same mistakes of the past, a clear example of this would be the time he gave Cell a hermit seed, which led to his sacrifice, the strengthening of the bio-android and the near death of Mirai Trunks. In addition, he lost 7 years of his life in which he could not see Goten grow or be there for Gohan and that he did not neglect his training.
Without further ado, he flew to the battlefield, crossing the skies at high speed.
He was so fast that he arrived in less than a second.
He descended to the ground and then hid among the trees without making the slightest noise.
A peculiar scene awaited him.
3 women faced a; "boy?"
What was that thing really? A giant?
Also, what are those two talking sticks that float and can even talk?...., Could they be objects of witchcraft like the staff that his grandfather gave him? He was not overly impressed either, since he has seen dinosaurs, aliens, talking animals and beastmen, in fact, the king of the earth in his universe was a dog.
The level of everyone there was decent, perhaps not on par with him or the rest of the Z warriors, but they were still formidable for a human.
He pricked up his ears, he was interested in what they were talking about, it would be an excellent idea to acquire information about this new world.
[Scene change]
—Illya-san!—.
Ruby and Sapphire, both mystical codes created by the wizard Marshall; kischur Zelrecth Schweinorg, howled in desolation fearing that their friend would be reached by the impregnable swords of the King of Heroes, however, at the last moment she was rescued by Kuro, better known as Chloe Von Einzbern, a darker-skinned version of Illyia with a more mature mind, pink hair, who wore a feminine archer outfit while carrying her bridal style.
At first glance, the mere possibility of obtaining the eighth card would seem impossible, since it was in the hands of a true heroic spirit like Gilgamesh, not the false Servants of the previous seven cards that lacked the slightest vestige of reasoning.
He wasn't the king of heroes at the height of his strength, of course.
In fact, it was his child form fused with his evil side which took on a monstrous titan form.
As long as her best friend Miyu was inside that colossus that once boasted of being the king of Uruk, she had to keep fighting and fighting without stopping until she finally defeated that thing, either alone or with the help of the others.
—Kuro!— The white-haired girl exclaimed while still being carried.
—Are you crazy?.....,How can you fight with your normal body?—.
Shortly after rebuking her twin counterpart, the pink haired had to jump to avoid the rest of the incoming attacks that hit the ground.
—And what is this supposed to be?—. As she carried Illyia into the air she saw the monstrosity more closely, a giant of sombre colours, 6 eyes and a sinister smile that would chill anyone to the bone. On its head the presence of a violet dome was discernible, from where the child Gilgamesh manipulated the creature.
—Judging by the method of attack... It must be the eighth card.
—But... How did it acquire that form?—.
A new voice joined the conversation.
—Bazett-San!—.
Illya exclaimed, now half-bowed and leaning on one knee.
Bazett was a woman with short purple hair and eyes of the same color who wore a masculine suit with black gloves.
The tone in which she said what she had said, evidenced the worry and hopelessness that was beginning to flood over her.
At the same time, she pumped enormous amounts of Magic into her arms and legs, reinforcing them as much as her body allowed, the phosphorescent glow on the woman's legs and fists was evidence of this.
Before they could say anything else another attack of light was directed towards them.
Once again, the three of them had to step aside.
—Tell us what happened, Illya!— As they both ran, Kuro demanded.
With her reflexes heightened, Bazett masterfully dodged three direct luminescent cuts to her head.
At speed Sonic used his forearm to cover himself from a powerful punch from the giant.
The aforementioned hand was even bigger than hers.
—Either way, he's an enemy!—
The magician answered at two. It was not the most appropriate time to argue.
The creature launched its other fist ready to blow the woman to pieces if it reached her, however, she responded with a devastating fist of concentrated Prana.
The two collided, causing a huge gust of air followed by a noticeable jolt.
—Wow, that woman's power is incredible!—.
Goku was left speechless at the display of pure strength. She was the most powerful of the three by far. The look on that female's face exuded years of experience on the battlefield, which in a way pleased him and made him admire this woman.
His strikes were not erratic either, they were very well calculated and precisely measured. His fighting style was aggressive but effective, although it left several easily exploitable openings exposed.
Furthermore, this Bazett used her energy in a similar way to Ki, since she covered parts of her body with it to increase her physical attributes.
He continued to watch the battle closely.
At the height of the conflict, Gilgamesh in his monstrous form summoned a sword of illogical length and span, raising it high, ready to bury everyone there.
—Oh no, he plans to kill them in one hit, I have to..........—.
Before he could directly counter the potential stab, he felt a spike of energy shoot through the roof.
Illyasviel grabbed the duo of mystical codes, accessing unprecedented power.
—CRAAAASSSHHH!!!!—
The giant Gilgamesh's sword split in two like fragile glass by a concentrated magic bolt.
—What are you?—.
The king of heroes whose small figure was wrapped in a black cloak tied to the core of the colossus in his head, questioned in astonishment at the sudden surge of power, his words lost in the air.
—Incredible!....., that girl's power now far exceeds that of the rest of her companions—.
Although that power was nothing out of the ordinary compared to his.
The Saiyan never imagined that such a young and inexperienced girl could reach such a level.
He showed that he had great potential, strong emotions, the feeling of wanting to save that Miyu at all costs fueled the spark, the latent force that resided within him.
He reminded him of his son Gohan, who also possessed a hidden power that came to the surface in critical moments through strong emotions.
However, judging by the white-haired girl's visible wear, she did not yet control all that power. With proper training, it could become a formidable war.
The upper half of the huge sword flew through the air.
-It just can't be.....-.
Kuro said, almost speechless by what had happened. It was inconceivable.
—Miyu..., listen. I'm upset.
As she spoke, a pair of wings composed of pure, multi-colored magical energy sprouted from the Einzbern's back.
—That I break it with you? That you regret getting us into this when it didn't involve us?...
That... You can't say that to a friend!
His power skyrocketed even more after mentioning that.
Bardock's son couldn't help but smile at those words. The girl's kindness, empathy and determination were admirable. Someone willing to give her life for those she loved.
—I'll take you out of there and slap you!—
Discreet tears ran down the young girl's cheeks.
—HAHAHAHAHA....,Amazing!, You're amazing!....,Actually, I was a little worried....,that there wouldn't be anyone who could give me a good fight. There's no point in me destroying you all.
Come on, let's fight for the Holy Grail!
Gilgamesh could not contain the adrenaline rush in his chest, finally, after so much time, a worthy rival stood before him.
The fight continued.
Kakaroto remained expectant. He admitted that the battle was quite a spectacle.
Despite this, he could not help but be upset by the strange presence of the boy who seemed to manipulate such a large creature.
It was as if he and that giant were the same person, two opposite sides of the same coin. The energy signatures of both were almost identical, the only difference being that one emanated gentleness and calmness, while the other represented an agglomeration of evil, disdain, hatred coupled with more negative feelings, incredibly malignant. Similar to Yin and Yang.
Above all, the boy's power was also high, superior to most of those present except for the magical girl.
The difference between the two was considerable, it was as if the brat's power increased every second... unfortunately she still seemed to have a hard time dealing with the king of heroes due to the lack of control over her powers and the tremendous wear and tear of that ethereal wing transformation.
The situation was familiar to him, it was similar to the wear and tear caused by the transformation of the ascended Super Saiyan, better known as Daisan dankai. It far exceeded the powers of an ordinary Super Saiyan, the drawback was that mobility was greatly reduced, and it was very difficult to handle properly.
If I had to draw parallels, I'd say the fight between Illyasviel and Gilgamesh was very similar to the encounter Mirai Trunks had against Cell after absorbing number 18 and reaching his Perfect form.
Although the warrior of the future considerably surpassed the powers of the bio-android, the energy drain and the great reduction in speed played a trick on him, leading to his early defeat.
Luvia Edelfelt and Rin Tohsaka arrived at the scene. Kuro revealed to them that the thing had devoured Miyu and Illya was trying to rescue her.
The exchange of magical attacks took place, the white-haired girl tried as best she could to counter the countless swords that were aimed at ending her life.
Illyiasviel frowned, showing slight signs of pain; the price of using that power was very high and the spectators noticed it immediately.
Just a little more, if he reached the core of that beast he could destroy it and free his friend, however the monster's iron resistance prevented him from doing so.
Gilgamesh laughed maniacally as he materialized and subsequently threw swords at him incessantly.
The rest of the mages decided to support the lesser Einzbern by showing off their various offensive spells.
The joint work of the 5 women bore fruit, the white-haired woman pierced the figure of the heroic spirit with a ray of light.
The longer the fight continued, the more damage his body suffered.
—We did it—.
Unfortunately for everyone, the joy would not last long.
—Hehehe... I see. You'll even pierce the shield of the gods. In that case, maybe it's true.—
The monarch of Uruk grabbed the energy that ran through him from side to side with his right hand and broke it into fragile particles with hardly any effort.
—Will you sacrifice yourself for a friend?...
You...., You are!.....
You are worthy of seeing all my power!
A gigantic sword whose mere presence radiated an intense crimson glow and a suffocating pressure materialized in his hand.
—This wind?—.
Bazett couldn't believe it, she felt that it was the same technique that the Servant used against them before, only this time it was imbued with much more power.
—This size?...,It can't be!—.
The Tohsaka was unable to process the event clearly. As a member of the mage's association, she had never in her life witnessed a noble phantasm that possessed such devastating power... If she had to classify its level, she would say that it was far above rank A, perhaps bordering on EX.
The air was stirring strongly and the temperature rose considerably.
—It can't be.....did he still have that much power in reserve?—.
Luvia was just as stunned as her companion from the Clock Tower.
Was this the end?
—It has no name. I just called it Ea. It is the oldest sword, the one that divided heaven and Earth. The one that literally tore the world apart to create it.
Do you feel the memory of creation engraved in your genes?
I will tear you apart along with this platform and bring the hell of Genesis right here!—.
Gilgamesh roared in delusions of grandeur imbued with pride.
—That guy is crazy!....,Does he want to destroy the Planet?!—.
The little Saiyan warrior exclaimed in disbelief. He had not anticipated such a sudden burst of power from the other boy.
The energy contained in that attack was overwhelming, comparable to Vegeta's Galick Cannon when he first came to Earth.
—This has gone too far!...., I have no choice. It's too extreme for them—.
A voice echoed in his head before he could take action.
—No Goku!...., don't do it!..., remember the consequences that your intervention alone can bring. If you do, you will alter the order of things even more. You do not belong to this reality, not even to its cosmology.
Also, take a good look at that girl....—.
The dragon's tone softened at the last mention.
Annoyed, the boy with the monkey tail fixed his gaze on the Einzbern, who was floating in the air, head down, in front of the colossus.
—Ruby, you weren't using your full power, were you?—
—Illyia-San, right?...—.
The magic staff held by the girl responded.
—Either way, if we lose here it will be the end—.
The white-haired girl responded.
-But.....-..
—So please.....my muscles, my veins, my nerves.....use everything I have!—.
She looked up, determined.
—Enuma Elish!—.
The king of heroes shouted, releasing the energy concentrated in his legendary weapon.
—Quintet Fire!—.
Illyiasviel counterattacked with a massive torrent of Prana.
The two attacks collided.
The onslaught of power was colossal, none of the energy beams seemed to retreat even an inch. The area shook violently and a blinding light spread out.
—AAAAAAHHHHHHHH—.
The lesser Einzbern let out a heart-rending last-minute cry, at last, Illyia's attack gained ground and eventually eclipsed Gilgamesh's.
The brat's power had suddenly increased, surpassing her opponent by a wide margin.
—BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM—.
The resulting explosion was terrifying. Everyone, including Son, covered their faces due to the intense light that radiated from it.
They had won the confrontation, the remnants of the impact turned into a beautiful environment of golden light and sparkling magic particles.
In the crater where the gruesome figure of the heroic spirit once stood, a beautiful girl with black hair and amber eyes now lay crouched crying.
—Illya......—.
Miyu muttered, tears escaping from her eyes without her being able to do anything about it.
—This is the first time I've seen you crying—.
A smiling Illyasviel descended to the ground after having been able to fulfill the promise she made to herself to rescue her.
His face was in terrible condition as a result of the inhuman effort he put his body through in that transformation of magical wings.
—Miyu, illyasviel!...., are you okay?—.
Rin and Luvia went to rescue them.
Illya lost her transformation in a faint flash of energy.
—Miyu-sama!—.
Sapphire lunged at the girl, who returned the gesture by hugging the magic stick back.
—Sapphire.....—.
The white-haired girl smiled. After this she fell limply.
—Illya—.
Before touching the ground she was picked up by the Tohsaka.
—What, you—.
—I'm a little dizzy—.
The tired voice of the Einzbern responded.
Luvia walked towards the younger black-haired girl.
—Miyu......—.
—Luvia-san......, I'm sorr......—.
Before she could speak, the younger Edelfelt was surprised by a tender hug from the blonde.
—I was so worried about you... Oh my God. How reckless. Couldn't you...?—.
Before the blue-eyed Tohsaka could finish her reprimand, Illya's magic stick stopped her.
—No, Illya-san is not to blame!....The whole problem came because you were not fit to be my Master!—.
—What?!, Idiot!—.
They both started an argument.
"Kuro," Illya called out, staggering, the effects of her previous display of power taking their toll.
"What?" The female archer replied.
-I'm sorry-.
—You're not serious.—
—Yes, thank you. I'm glad you were here.
The dark skinned girl pouted cutely and turned her back to the others.
However, she raised her eyebrow when she noticed some movement among the vegetation of the surrounding forest.
—Huh?..., what was that?—.
Illya's counterpart swore that she saw, even if it was for thousandths of a second, a blur traveling at extreme speed.
An animal perhaps?...., no, they should have fled because of the explosions and tremors caused during the confrontation.
So...what was it? Were they being watched the whole time? But who? And how could they not sense any energy signature around them?
Or maybe it was just his imagination?
She closed his eyes and sighed reluctantly, she would ignore that detail for the moment, would think about it later. The important thing now was to relax after what was undoubtedly the hardest battle she had ever had in his entire life.
The Son flew aimlessly through the skies, drawing a smile of genuine happiness on his childish face.
—I'm glad everything ended well—.
He whispered those words which were lost in the wind.
The bonds of love between those three girls moved him. There weren't many people left with a heart as pure as that Illyia.
Not only did she have the potential to become a great warrior, but she was also a great person in mind and spirit.
She could say with complete certainty that she would have no problem riding the flying cloud.
He also learned quite a few interesting things about this world.
Holy Grail War, Class Cards, etc.
Was it possible that this Holy Grail might resemble the Dragon Balls?....possibly. It could grant wishes, although he did not know the scope and limitations of this.
—So, what do you think about this world?—.
Shenlong's voice echoed in his head again.
—I actually like it. It seems interesting. People here have very strange techniques... I'm not sure, but they seem to manipulate something like magic, right? —
The Saiyan recalled the various spells used during the battle. The only beings he knew with unusual abilities beyond strength were Uranai Baba, Babidi, Majin Buu..., perhaps also a little of the magic of the Kaioshin and the Namekians like Dende.
—You hit the nail on the head, Son Goku. Unlike our world, it seems that here Magic is the energy that governs the Universe.
And from what I have seen, it constitutes the life essence of living beings, similar to how Ki does.
It's funny, in our world magic is not tied to an individual's life force.
Well, anyway, for now I advise you not to get involved with those people. At least not yet. Also, as long as there is no way to return to our dimension, you will have to adapt to everyday life here. As we agreed before, do not show your powers unless it is strictly necessary, okay?
—Hahaha, yeah, I guess so. It hurts that you don't trust me, Shenlong.
Son laughed carefree in a sarcastic and friendly tone.
He also wondered what new adventures awaited him in that strange world so different from his own but at the same time so similar.
His Saiyan blood was boiling with excitement, he didn't know what the future held for him. Whatever it was, he would overcome any obstacle, if it was destiny, he was willing to destroy it, to forge his own path, his own fight. A new opportunity to remake his life and overcome his limits was granted to him.
——END OF PROLOGUE——
