Dragon Ball anime: Ghost Warriors Tier Revision?

I'm just confused, why are the warriors created by the destron gas (Cooler, Lord Slug, Turles, and Frieza even though its not in his profile) 4-A?

The first Broly movie and Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans takes place in the 10 day period before the Cell Games (which is odd since Trunks had long hair during the Cell Games and short hair in the former movie but whatever), with the Broly movie coming first.

Broly is accepted in M8 as 4-A, and Goku overcomes his power, easily brushing off his attacks and one-shotting him, placing him on the same tier temporarily by taking the energy of Piccolo, Vegeta, Trunks and Gohan into his own, putting him just above Broly.

Yet Lord Slug , Turles and Cooler are all 4-A, which I can only assume means that whoever made the profile has every fighter from the Broly/Hatchiyack movie as Multi-Solar System individually, which makes no sense.

Lord Slug's profile - Multi-Solar System level (Managed to somewhat compete with non-canon Cell Saga Piccolo, who can fight non-canon Cell Jr.)

Turles's profile - Multi-Solar System level (Able to somewhat compete with non-canon Cell Saga Super Saiyan teen Gohan)

Cooler's profile - Multi-Solar System level (Managed to somewhat compete with non-canon Super Saiyan Cell Saga Goku)

In what instance is Cell Jr. non-canon? IIRC as far as the canon manga goes, the only people stated to hold their own against a Cell Jr. is Trunks and Vegeta , who are all 4-C characters. I don't recall seeing him outside of the canon.

Every Z-fighter here got trashed by Broly, who treated the ghost warriors like fodder, then got trashed by Hatchiyack, but to a lesser degree (since all of the cast besides Goku weren't K.O.'d).

Then all the before-mentioned fighters scale below Hatchiyack, who is also 4-A, and he gets destroyed in a combined attack from the Saiyans and Piccolo . Fast forward to M10 Broly who easily destroys a Teen SS2 Gohan, but loses to a beam struggle from Gohan, Goku, and Goten, all in standard Super Saiyan form (with help from base Trunks's PIS blast).


Can anyone help me clear this up?
 
I do not know, but will temporarily highlight this for more information.
 
There are two continuities the canon and the non-canon continuity. The canon continuity includes the manga version of Dragon Ball, Z and Super. The non-canon continuity includes the anime version of Dragon Ball, Z, GT and all the Movies/Ovas (This why Frieza has not a 4-A key).

Broly gradually destoyed the galaxy as a Restricted Super Saiyan since he was under he control of his father Paragus and he awakened the Legendary Super Saiyan form against Goku and Vegeta. Every character superior to that form is 4-A.

Ghost Cooler Managed to somewhat compete with non-canon Super Saiyan Cell Saga Goku, who will fight evenly with Cell. Turles was able to compete and defeat non-canon Cell Saga Super Saiyan teen Gohan and Lord Slug managed to somewhat compete with non-canon Cell Saga Piccolo, who shortly later will fight evenly and was not stomped by Anime Cell Jr, who is superior to Restricted Super Saiyan Broly. Zangya was seen to fight on par with non-canon Post RoSaT Future Trunks and helped overwhelm Super Saiyan Teen Gohan, who both likely got a Zenkai Boost from Cell. Hatchiyack and Broly scales because they are superior the ghosts and Zangya.
 
All this non-canon is confusing lol. But can we actually say anyone is stronger than restricted Broly? SSJ Vegeta's Big Bang Attack to the back of his head just made him mad, and he was arguably stronger than everyone except for Goku. And Cell himself wasn't even 4-B until he became SPC, which doesn't apply to the non-canon continuity since Goku isn't dead, and Gohan never uses SS2, which also applies to the Bojack movie since it comes after PTETS and the first Broly movie, but before Broly the second coming. Also regarding the Piccolo statement see the image:

Edit: Just saw the Piccolo vs Cell Jr fight on the anime, he does manage to give them a beating, but doesn't kill them from what I've seen so far. Also why is the anime considered non-canon as a whole?

Don't spam large quotes of text please. In the anime continuity Perfect Cell is 4-A (Him stating to destroy the solar system was to adapt the manga) becase he is superior to Restricted Broly since Vegeta used a big bang attack to him and not a final flash, which would have damaged him. In the Metal Cooler movie Goku was supposed to be on the bed, but in the movie he is fine, so the condition and event of a character in a movie does not apply to the canon-continuity. Lastly Piccolo in the non-canon anime continuity was able to fight the Cell Jr. and was not stomped by them.
 
What makes Perfect Cell 4-A??????????????

In the Metal Cooler movie Piccolo fought one of his clones, while at the time he already fused with Kami, so it could be said that Goku was already healed at that point since he did rescue him, unless it takes place before that event.
 
I already explained that, the Cell i'm talking about is the non-canon anime continuity [In this continuity we have Yamcha defeating Olibu] and not the manga continuity. In the Metal Cooler movie Piccolo is indeed fused with Kami, but is weaker because at the time the movie was released Toei did not reached the episode where Piccolo fought Cell and was stated to be superior to the super saiyans in the anime.
 
Oh so you mean filler. I wouldn't know what Cell has done in the filler then, if he's done anything. Also in that continuity that Yamcha vs Olibu fight would be near the end of the Buu saga which is after any movie discussed here (though I feel you stated it for reference). I'm going to have to see some of these 4-A filler feats then.
 
I forgot to tell that even the feats in the filler are non-canon since the depiction of Perfect Form Frieza in hell in the dbz anime is completely different that the Mecha Frieza in canon hell in Super.
 
Perhaps all of this should be better clarified in the anime continuity profiles, in order to avoid future misunderstandings.
 
About the Frieza thing, he was in hell in Z, but in Super it looks like he's in heaven. No part of what we've seen of hell looks remotely anything like that, and it was suggested that people like Dabura would be sent to heaven because hell would be their heaven.


But filler and movie timelines can be lumped together just because they're both non-canon? That's confusing....I personally feel they should be separate..but if that's the case, why not make a non-canon key for Hercule (or canon if the following feats are), since he survived an attack from Perfect Cell and could dodge attacks from Kid Buu?
 
No but other movies that are referenced at some point have references to those. Its a bunch of circular references that checks out in the end, also pretty sure theres statements from Toei, from their website i think relating them. And besides, Cooler is canon to Hatchiyack and Broly is canon to that and Cooler is canon to GT which is canon to the anime. Its all there, just convoluted but it doesnt change much.
 
The appearance as a ghost for Cooler means that is after the Metal Cooler movie since Cooler survived as a little piece after he was blasted to the sun.
 
In the anime Perfect Cell goes through like, 5 different stages of suppression during his fight against Goku (A Goku who'd be stronger than the one who fought Broly cause Zenkai is a thing), and he was still holding back a lot at the end. He powers up more during SSJ Gohan and once again during SSJ2 Gohan to reach 100%.
 
So does Hercule not get anything from surviving a surpressed Cell and dodging Kid Buu while (barely) tanking a punch from him? Arale got upgraded from her episode in DBS.
 
Hercule surviving is because the villains (The difference between them is massive) were extremely casual on him and they could have killed him without problems. Arale got upgraded because she competed with SSB Goku and the others were not sure he could make it, so bulma called Beerus to stop her.
 
Nah dude, 3-A Hercule, make it happen. Honestly though Toei Hercule is superhuman anyway, 50 tiles, 4 buses and can punch through a sheet of steel.
 
Also speaking of that, why do the profiles say SBG, SSG, and SSB Goku are MFTL and universal, yet he only has "at least FTL+" on his profile? This applies to many characters I think.
 
We will likely rescale the DBS characters closer to the OBD ratings after the tournament arc is over.
