Dr Letz Shake "magnitude 20"

It isn't supposed to be scientifically possible for an Earthquake Magnitude to be any higher than Magnitude 10.5. There is Magnitude from a Distance for "Shaking the Earth" feats, but I'm personally skeptical on this. Magnitude 20 if taken literally would be 10^(20*1.5 + 4.8) = 6.3095734*10^34 Joules or 15.0802424589 Yottatons which would be Large Planet level. And yeah, that sounds wayyyyy off for an Earthquake feat.

I suppose but Dr Letz Shake seems to have a specific range when it comes to his quakes, you can see that in NMH1 with the big red circle.

It's not the only case like that in a game either, in R&C tools of destruction has a weapon that shoots tornadoes that are F6 while the fujita scale only goes up to F5.

Okay, that's definitely an outlier. I can accept it when it's TSA, but Letz Shake started in 1 when NMH is down to earth.

Why only accept it when it's TSA? If anything that'd only support it more. And you're talking about a big earthquake generator with a brain it among all the other strange stuff, it was never really all that "down to earth".

Oh also bit unrelated but Charlie MacDonald reaching space nigh instantly https://youtu.be/lklnOLq_bCw?t=70

It's not remotely realistic for an Earthquake to be Magnitude 20; plus the feat was see is just him shaking the stadium. That was calculated at Low 7-C.

It's not really realistic for an earthquake generator to exist either, nor would it be realistic for a human brain (which is also giant sized) to operate said machine as well.

Even then you don't know if that's all he's shaking, that's just all you see. It could be all he's shaking though considering the red circle in NMH1 suggesting he shakes within a specific range and it's all just potency.

Earthquake at magnitude 20 is physically impossible, and I can accept it when it was TSA because there's DeaDri and Wormhole's statements, which NMH1 lacks. Also the fact that his earthquakes doesn't even resemble magnitude 20 earthquake, at best it's 7 or 6.

An Earthquake at that magnitude with low AoE would have also caused a lot more damage to the stadium and at least cause some sort of Giant Volcano Geyser or something. And by not realistic, I'm not talking about the fact that the verse nor any verse is realistic. Just the fact that the entire premise/calculation is unquantifiable/hyperbolic.

Seems like the author doesnt know thst its a logarithmic scale. Go with what's actually shown of the feat

This reminds me of when Hulk threw a punch that was put that got a 123.4 on the Richter scale. Something that would dwarf 3-A orders of magnitude greater than 3-A dwarfs 10-B. That same punch didn't even bust the moon though lol

Authors just don't know math sometimes.

what even is this reality

Same reality where a Flash feat that's 13 trillion c if you use its stated distance and timeframe gets called almost light speed by the narrator.

Meanwhile I'm just that one guy who wants to make a perfectly consistent work of fiction where all stated math is exactly on point

that said I am not sane so
