Not really. Unless he can beat up Metal Sonic faster than he can copy The Doomslayer's statistics and powers.

Wait, what abilites is Metal going to copy? Doom Slayer's abilities are mostly to just and beat the **** out of your opponent. Unless he uses his power-ups. I doubt he'd be fast enough to copy his power-ups since their only 30 seconds long. Metal also has a small ap advantage, so copying won't do much. Any other wincon for Metal?

Metal copying is literaly instant in IDW, he looked at Sonic and got his data, same to Shadow, he also has Eggman's inteligence as well, and yes he can copy power ups since it's heavely implied he would be able to copy Burning Blaze if he fought her, reason why she didn't
Plus he stop time thanks to copying Shadow
Like IDW's Metal copying was improved from the Heroes of that verse, so it's Doomguy vs himself with more powers, heck, that Metal copied Eggman's inteligence
