Do we treat explosions as having a certain speed?

Basically, do we imply explosions (like a bomb or grenade going off) has a certain speed. I've seen it's usually around the hypersonic range so I was wondering.
 
If they meet the requirements described here we treat them as having the speed calculated as described on that page.
 
Yes, they wouldn't count since they aren't caused by a chemical explosive, but by a supernatural ability.
