In fact I believe there is a skill in Savers Another Mission that we have not yet focused on that is that Lucemon comes back to life immediately after being killed in combat. But it already has this power here because of the SGDL standard. For now we just do not have a new power, but HM is to be released then ... who knows ..
 
Inb4 Lucemon is stated to have absorbed Yggdrassil's and Zeed's power and stalemates God.

It is fortold that Lucif- I mean Lucemon will have his 7 year reign on Earth VSBW. But once that is up (and the false prophets are slai Dragon, Dark, Reppu, and Ex are long retired), he shall be set back where he belongs in the second coming of Cal.

Cyber Sleuth was the first attempt in the West after years without new games here, they might not want to spend too much for fear of not succeeding and so they did not dub for lack of budget.
 
To be honest, Japanese dubbing was good anyway. My favorite was Suedo, my favorite character of the whole game.
 
Did anyone else think Seudo and Rie were gonna be like Jessie and James? I was so expecting him to turn out to be Dynasmon after Rie turned out to be Crusadermon.
 
I was hoping that tbh. However, at the same time Seudo's personality fit more with Leopardmon due to being a tactician like guy. Meanwhile Rie in reality matched Crusadermon's "Unmatched Cruelty" (For those who played CS, see if you can find this reference)

Good point, but at times Seudo comes off as an exasperatingly pathetic nerd, so it could've been a really bad act.

I still find it odd that they retconned it to make Leopardmon the strongest Royal Knight (sans maybe Exomon) in spite of his how motif of being fast and tactical, but fairly weak. I mean, the dude took on Alphamon and friends and still put up a good fight...

We need to use Leopardmon for 2-A fights.

Also Examon is easily the strongest Knight in pure power. Y'know how many RK it took to just subdue Examon, while he was being taken over by Eaters?
 
Fair enough.

Still disapointed their wasn't a proper Examon boss (not counting the Royal Knight stuff because he was waaaay to small). Examon at full power and full size would be one hell of a boss fight.
 
I agree, Fighting the giant Examon was hype, but too scripted and we never got to finish the fight. But at least they seem to be allowing us to fight a giant Arkadimon Super Ultimate in HM.

I don't even wanna think about what kind of timey wimey shenanigans that would bring.

I always found it weird Kazu had the Crest of Reliability on his shirt when that never really fit his personality. He was a pretty reliable ally, but he never really had any stand-out selfless moments like Joe did. Kenta would probably fit better, given his role in the final battles.

A bunch of them are probably intentional due to Western preferences.

For instance, Christianity isn't that big in Japan, so no one will bat an eyelash if their kid sees Lilithmon. But given her status as a Satanic or demonic figure, the dub studio was likely worried that bringing her name over would offend those who are devout Christians and thus lower ratings.
 
Didn't the Xros Wars dub name Marsmon to Marsusumon or something?

But yeah, religious names tend to be changed around, except in cases lie Angemon and Seraphimon. Happens with a lot of anime directed towards children.
