Going to type down my thoughts on the matter here. It is a consistent thing for Diavolo to check into his visions prior to Time Erase, so he's going to peer into the future with Epitaph and see purely nothing due to Yamato's resistance. Yamato in the anime eventually became promptly unpredicabtle to the Dragonians and those of the El Mu, who have shown the capacity to see millions of years into the future and determine fate itself. So in a sense, Diavolo takes the time to precog which is promptly useless and results in Yamato knowing the future or knowing exactly how King Crimson works. Diavolo time erases and tries to donut, but instantly hits the forcefield due to lack of knowledge of what's going to happen in the future. This forcefield then nullifies KC's abilities and leaves Diavolo practically helpless as his time erase and precog become unable to be abused and it becomes a physical fight. Yamato then proceeds to just heavily outskill and sword GG, along with an AP advantage.

If we go down another path which just assumes Yamato doesn't put up a forcefield or tp away, donut is not incap. That will trigger God to resurrect Yamato. Yamato comes back, Diavolo has no reason to assume he would live and he cannot see Yamato's future, and Yamato proceeds to telekinetically crush him.

And if we go down a third path, I'll ask one question. Can time erase affect Immeasurables?

this might be a stomp
