He's only useful against humans and enemies he is far above. Important demons squash him, Lady squashes him, Lady stomps the demons that stomp him, and so on. Dan Hibiki is a joke character, meant to parody characters that were counted as rip offs to Ryu and Ken, with no talent, Netflix Dante is nowhere near Dan level
The fact yall expected it to be 100% to the games when more signs pointed otherwise before release shows you cant judge as its own thing

And if we're supposed to judge it "as its own thing" with no regard to the original then it should be an entirely new brand. You adapt an existing IP you're inevitably going to be compared to it, and it's unreasonable to tell people not to compare them.

Except in the games he actually succeeds against the bosses as well. The presence of fodder demons and him beating those fodders in both the show and the games isn't the issue.
He lost and then she killed them in one hit. Results matter quite a lot.
If it was just once maybe. Problem is he consistently gets humiliated. At some point a character becomes a jobber.
Batman struggles and frequently comes close to losing. Lady's consistent beating and stumping of Netflix Donte sets a pattern.
Like it or not, audiences recognize patterns, and frame things based on those patterns. People treat Bellatrix Lestrange as a threat because every action she takes ends in someone she targets getting ended or at least severely harmed, resulting in her mere presence ramping up the threat level. By contrast people mock Lucious Malfoy because every action he takes either fails or backfires on him. Netflix Dante generally fails in his attempts at most meaningful things or is generally treated as a joke, hence the audience treating him as a loser.
I criticize a show. Never said anything against the people who like it. You're the one attacking me for not liking it.
Vegeta is generally outclassed by a fellow Saiyan, Goku. Not a human who is supposed to be weaker. He also beats Android 19, overwhelms 20, wiped out the Ginyu Force, and has beaten Goku before.

I haven't watched DMC Netflix yet, and I only finished DMC 5 for comparison.
But at least the Netflixvania has fluid animation (which earns it a 0.1 rating), but it seems like DMC doesn't even have that, and it still has that horrible 3D. So the rating will probably be negative.

3D ain't that bad tbh, only thing that looks off is Dante's DT, but it looks pretty neat in 2D

3D only stands out as being bad when it doesn’t mix well with 2-D animation. If you wanna do 3-D CG stuff then go full Hi Score Girl with the animation, that way it at least looks consistent enough and not jarring as hell.

The other demons having it looks really off, plus didn’t help that Agni and Rudra looks much worse when they have heads compared to how their design is supposed to be in the games.

Didn't looked off to me, having watched it a decent amount of times by now, I can't say it distracts me, I'm also sure they only gave them heads to make them emote more, as not having their heads would save money for the crew

Giving them their heads when the entire point of their design is their heads are in their swords is still a stupid decision. If you’re not going to adapt the most basic part of their designs then use some other demons.
