Which calc group members have commented in the discussion or the blogs previously?

Method 1 doesn't need the curvature formula as the entire planet is visible. Curvature formula is only necessary when only a small part of the planet is visible. Just noting it down.

@StrymULTRA

You need to post the calculation methods in a blog post, so the calc group members can comment there. That is our standard procedure. Otherwise nothing that we decide here will be binding.

  1. DemonGodMitch already told that high end of Method 2 is fine

Damage replied on the blog that the calc is mathematically fine and that it will depend upon which end the knowledgeable members want to go with for proper scaling, so basically this thread has been concluded as this thread is only for the calc aspect of the feat, not the scaling aspect.

The scaling aspect of the feat, and the end that will be chosen, is being discussed here.
