A few extra ones missed on this list, Link presumably dies of old age for most incarnations so the next incarnation can be born (And Ocarina of Time Link is straight up killed in combat by Ganondorf in the Downfall Timeline), Zelda and her descendants / ancestors also presumably die of old age.

The first Ganondorf canonically died in the Child Timeline at the end of Twilight Princess, he got stabbed by the Master Sword and had the Triforce of Power leave him, for some reason unlike his other deaths this one was permanent (To this day nobody has even the slightest idea why) and Demise's curse had to force him to completely reincarnate into a new Ganon. And ignorning that he's also permentantly dead for unknown reasons by the time Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom and a new reincarnation had to take his place. Said new reincarnation is also (At the moment) permentally dead after Link makes him blow up like a nuke.

It counting current deaths,
which is why Sindel is currently the only Mortal Kombat character on the list since current primary continuity version of her is dead (Liu Kang's timeline is what's being currently used, so character's like Shang Tsung, Goro, Sektor, and Sonya Blade are saved from their fates)

Ah yeah in that case people like Ganondorf def should be added since as of the current point in the timeline(s) his original incarnation is completely dead and that's the version DB used (Well technically they kinda also used the new Ganondorf since they used some Calamity Ganon stuff in Ganon vs Drac but at the time it wasn't known that Calamity Ganon / TOTK Ganondorf was a different person, even then the new dorf is also dead so uh doesn't matter much anyway).

Tbh, I don’t think I’d be active in a death battle discord, people too passionate about matchups. The most simple MUs just get people mad, then they turn around and give you the blandest MU ever or an MU with Rando anime character that only 5 death battle viewers care about, but it’s okay cause the series has 30 million fans (in South Korea) and the character has more connections(they share the same fav color)

Ganondorf is such a clusterfuck, why couldn’t Nintendo just have them all be the same person throughout the timelines and games like Link?
 
Super is mid. It only works in the fight. It is not good to listen on it's own due to how Brandon's voice sounds inconsistent.

Anyone has tried to commission someone to make a sprite sheet for a fictional character? How do they actually charge? I found some but they are for RPGs. I want some FTG grade sprite sheets.



This is somehow close to what I want but they offer 64 X 64 while I want at least 128 X 256 (likely higher)

Its weird cause Links & Zeldas have clear pattern of multiple different versions but Ganon has limited but still multiple different version as well. But its like, The Main Ganon, 4 Swords Reincarnation & Totk being different entities, with maybe one or two Im missing that are different incarnations?
 
Nah you're not missing any it's just the 3 Ganons atm. It's really weird how randomly they decide to make a new incarnation of him, Four Swords rolls around and they decided to make him a different person, then they go back to using the original for all his next appearances, then Tears of the Kingdom they decided to make it a different person again.

No idea why him dying several times in the Downfall Timeline results in him resurrecting as the same person but dying once in the Child Timeline or at any point before the backstory to BOTW/TOTK results in reincarnating into a different person.
