Above namek saga piccolo yes, but as soon as we reach Cooler you have Piccolo being > Gohan again and probably some showings during the Garlic Saga makes him comparable but idk.

Makyo Star-empowered Garlic Jr. was superior to Piccolo and managed to easily overpower him and Krillin at the same time, with his defeat only coming about due to Gohan destroying the Makyo Star, which should bring interesting results.

Buu Saga Base Goku > 619.2 foe

SSJ Goku > 30.9 Kilofoe

SSJ 2 cell games Gohan > 30.9 Kilofoe ( is not surpassesed in power unti Goku and Majin Vegeta transform into SS2 themselves.)

Súper Perfect Cell >15.45 Kilofoe (half as powerful as SS2 Gohan)

Or does this break the scaling?

Also in the thread for upgrading Buu saga Base Gohan above Kaioshin, its being considered his amp after the Z sword training makes his base 30.9 Kilofoe by virtue handling it in base when he initially needed his SSJ form to wield it. which also likely scales to Base Goku making them 1.548 Megafoe as SS1

This is supported by post fusion Goku fighting an ultimate gohan who is as strong as the original in only SSJ.

Why is Gohan considered the strongest unfused character in either medium exactly? SSJ3 Goku saying he can't beat Super Buu was a blatant bluff, since he was still under the narrative of himself being weaker than Fat Buu, considering how he pointed out to Vegeta he hadn't felt it was okay to admit to him he could've beaten Fat Buu the entire time until they were in the Kaioshin Realm to fight Kid Buu, that alone invalidates taking it seriously and applying it to true power SSJ3 Goku.

Toriyama himself says Goku was the strongest in the universe in the Buu Saga, Vegeta also states Goku is literally #1 and the only one who can fight Kid Buu, SSJ3 Goku's full power killing blow was thought to be able to oneshot Kid Buu but when it came to Gohan and Gotenks he wasn't absolutely confident they could beat Kid Buu fighting together, and it's stated many times if Goku and Vegeta lost then everyone was doomed and Kid Buu would've killed everyone, even after Gohan was alive and well.

I'd rather not open the can of worms that's Kid Buu vs. the other Buus, but in any medium SSJ3 Goku and Kid Buu>>>Ultimate Gohan.
