Yeah. It seems like Kaio-Ken and Kaio-Ken x2 are the same thing...

Toriyama pls.

I like to imagine that King Kai told Goku that Kaio-ken multiplies his power by 1 just to mess with him, and since Goku is terrible at math, he thought that was an actual boost, but Kaio-ken effectively does nothing.

Divisioon between zeros... typical math mistake, isn't that hard, but yeah, I wouldn't delay the thread
PFFFFFFFFF, THAT'S NOTHING. Try this:

1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16... = ∞

Or: 1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16... = 1 x (1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16... )

Now, [ 2 - 1 = 1 ]

So: 1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16... = (2 - 1) x (1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16...)

Which leads us to: 1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16... = 2 + 4 + 8 + 16 + 32... - 1 - 2 - 4 - 8 - 16...

Cutting all the numbers that nullify each other, we get:

1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16... = - 1

Or:

∞ = - 1

There, I mathematically proved that Infinity is equal to Minus One.

what u did is mathematically illogical, u cant just deal with infinite geometric series just like that

u r using the geometric serie 1/(1-x) which is at x =2 , but technically x= -1 is outside the validity, sooo... that little 2-1 splicing doesnt make sense in this case)

this link explains in detail that i cannot explain due to limitations of my keyboard which doesnt allow for proper representing of limits

but in short: u tried to loot something and tried to sneek away, but the math police busted you

Shut up

Let's get back to the most important question:

If Goku used Kaio-ken x0, would he just instantly destroy himself?
He turns into Yamcha.

i'd say he becomes almighty

i mean if the universe is a way to express 0, then wudnt that be true forany finite number of universes (i know i am purposefully not making sense wit the latter for comedy, but the universe being 0 mite be true)

soooo 2-B goku? :p

Goku right now

Agree with most of Crazy's post, but pretty much disagree with anyone before Final Form Frieza being FTL. This is mainly due to the fact that the ~1c calc assumes the Death Beam to be a beam of light, since in much of the official source material, it was treated as a beam of light. Absolutely nobody could react to it until Goku came around, which would be weird if everyone was FTL, anyway, and also make the calc invalid since we didn't know the exact speed of the beams.

I think (after the minor changes I made a while ago) most characters are fine where they are, currently.

However, you can always argue that Frieza's death beam may be faster than lightspeed, as we have ki energy beams being fired at >FTL as well as characters moving at >FTL later on in the series.

If Freiza's death beam is FTL or FTL+, I will not be surprised considering Goku's Kaioken is way over lightspeed by that point anyways.

You could, but it goes against official description and takes away the single FTL DBZ calc we currently have, which is a bad idea. It's also not even Frieza's strongest attack, so it makes sense it wouldn't be as fast as others when he was being so casual.

So, should somebody delete all of those posts that diverged from the purpose of this thread, so we can get back on topic?

That said, I probably forgot to mention this earlier, but I can agree with upgrading Piccolo, Second Form Frieza, and Third Form Frieza to Relativistic+. Probably not for First Form Frieza or Vegeta, and certainly not for Captain Ginyu. Mainly due to, if that were the case, they'd all be able to fully react to the Death Beam, by that time.

Well, it'd scale to Vegeta after he got injured by Krillin and healed by Dende, so, given that he was stronger than Third Form Freeza.

I meant for pre-Krillin wound Vegeta, but yes, post-wound Vegeta should scale.
