Dragon Ball Toei

Priority: 2/3

Very Basic Change

In this calc made in 2020, the post itself was rejected due to Toei Heaven being rejected as Universe sized. The calc and math was approved, and now that we accept Toei Heaven as the size of a Universe, this should make the calc acceptable now.

This would change the Shaking afterlife calc to be higher, and would change the size of the Kaioshin realm as it is 1/10 the entire macrocosm (which makes it larger than a Universe).

Just need the boys to give the thumbs up and add it the Toei page I guess.

How much would the afterlife be compared to the living universe if this gets accepted?
If the living Universe is = our visible Universe, then:

Radius of the Visible Universe = 4.4e26 m
Radius of the Afterlife = 9.668e32 metres

Volume of the Universe = 3.57E80 (m^3)
Volume of the Afterlife = 3.785E+99 (m^3)

And then the Kaioshin realm is 1/10 of the U7 globe, which is at least 1/10 the radius of the afterlife.

No, we don't see it in the scenes due to angle, since it is shown that heaven is directly above everything else

It doesn't make it larger than a universe, the afterlife is an unknown ammount of time bigger than heaven

I only remembered Otherworld being separated by time and space from the living world, I didn't remember Heaven being accepted as having the diameter of the living universe being accepted. Though it logically should be much larger than a whole bunch of planets put together in volume, with HFIL being much bigger than that.

The hfil part is being currently discussed, as the information comes from a non canon material

About hell, we can use DBZ director's source where he states that hell is infinite in size

Sounds reasonable enough, it should be kept in mind that Bulma's statement is something she heard from other inhabitants of Heaven and not something she pulled pulled out of her ass, and as far as credibility goes, it looks like that notion holds even while the Kais are around with their universal vision and ability to perceive these distances and sizes to know if it actually is or not, so I don't see why it shouldn't be be considered valid.

Heaven was accepted in the same crt as the guides and the toei anime both say it

but is there any reason it wouldn’t be?

Just to note, this thread is not about the size of heaven

If all the problems from the initial thread have been resolved with the recent changes, there should be no issue. Can you please link the thread confirming our acceptance of the new heaven size?
On the Dragon Ball Toei page, plus in many Toei CRT's the daizenshuu has become a reliable source.

Since there is no dedicated page to the change, as it was just accepted along with the daizenshuu.

Scroll to the bottom to the notes of this page and you will see it.

"Note: The Macrocosm is accepted as 2-C because Popo states the all of the past present and future are created in this room. This is backed up by the fact that the other realms hadn’t been introduced yet. Also, the Living Universe and Afterlife are stated to be separated by space and time. Also, Shin calls the Living Universe its own temporal world. This means that the Kaioshin realm is it owns space time continuum as well since the Afterlife and Living Universe are their own space time continums. Heaven is also stated to be as big as a universe multiple times. Hell is stated to be even bigger than Heaven, so that would mean it’s as a big as a universe too."

When did staff accept universe sized Heaven?
Its on the TOEI DB page. The daizenshuu is accepted as a reliable source for Toei.

Toei verse is basically db-dbz-dbgt right?

If GT was accepted now as a canon alternate timeline in super, does that mean the sizes of the realms are the same?

Where did you get that it was the size of a planet?

That’s referring to Grand Kai’s planet but even Grand Kai’s planet has stars in it so it’s weird but Heaven is never called small Goku says is this heaven? It’s big in the episode I actually watched the episode because Geburah made people actually think it was referring to heaven but if you look at the scan you can see they’re traveling to grand kais planet too

how is heaven universe sized when its the size of a planet
Because it is stated in the guidebook and stated again in the anime itself? Heaven being the size of a planet is nowhere supported outside of one statement that you post. And IIRC, that statement was made by Goku, he is stupid, we don’t take his statement on stuff like this.

You have a reason why it wouldn't be?
MWI is the current accepted multiverse model, as such every possibility becomes real as an alternate timeline, so every possibility for alternate cosmologies also become true, so there is no reason to assume the cosmologies are the same

Bro you’re acting like the statement is valid in the first place I really didn’t know that people still thought goku called heaven a small planet well here’s the full context to debunk that

So Heaven being a small planet has always been a lie kinda reminds me of the 4 galaxies thing on the wiki I’m honestly surprised people still believed in Geburah’s lie but here is the debunk

bro its controversial because coz i found a random ahh debunk

daio kai planet is visible in heaven. This is relevant coz daoi kai's planet is stated to be a small planet

the mansion is visible on kais planet, indicating how small it is. how is a small planet visible in heaven if heaven is supposed to be universe sized?

and here we can see a small planet above heavens surface which looks like a planets surface

Heaven cant even be seen from the bottom of the afterlife. This doesn't make any sense because if heaven was universe sized than it would have been making up a quarter of the macrocosm

The living world is stated to be HALF of the DB macrocosm

and outer space is stated to be HALF of the living world, meaning its 25% of the DB macrocosm. The DB macrocosm is 4x greater in size than the mortal universe.

which is equal the observable universe.

If heaven was truly equal to that in size than why does it not take up 25% of the macrocosm? Why is a small planet visible above it as well by statements and visually?

and lastly
this
The afterlife is divine into three areas. Hell, King Enma realm and the Kaio Realm. Heaven belongs to the Kaio Realm meaning the Kaio Realm as a whole>>Heaven which again contradicts Heaven being universal sized as that would make Heaven 25% of the DB macrocosm. The After life>>Kaio Realm>>heaven.

1. Daio Kaio planet is small planet is visible above Heaven visually and by statement

Daio kaio planet is likely just 100x bigger than king kai's planet since king kai's planet used to be 100x greater in size

2. Heaven being universal in size makes no sense as its a mere speck inside the DB macrocosm while the mortal universe and the demon realm on the other hand both each make up 25% of the DB macrocosm and together make up half of it.

3. Heaven is stated to be a part of the Kaio Realm which one of the 3 areas of the after life which contradicts heaven being 25% of the DB macrocosm.

the grand Kai's planet is called relatively small, relative, meaning, compared to other structures in the realm. By itself it contains STARS, it's bigger then any planet or star in the living world. The only thing it's higer than in afterlife is probably king Kai's planet- which used to be much bigger than it until beerus nuked it-

- Living world is the LOWER half, while afterlife is the UPPER half, nothing said they were each 50% of the full macrocasm nor any of those other sizes, that already debunks 90% of this argument, same with the afterlife being divided into realms, nothing is said of how much space the individual structures there take up.

- The only thing controversial in otherworld is that how they look from the outside when you're moving through otherworld's space is a different story to what they actually contain on the inside
