Darth Sidious vs Darth Caedus

He was at the time of ROTS, however, LOTF takes place after that. Other than that, feat wise, Darth Caedus is the only one who could possibly defeat Sidious since both are comparable to, but weaker than, Luke. Caedus actually fought a stronger Luke than the one Palpatine lost to, so this is hardly an easy bout either way.
 
Caedus. Fought a Luke who far surpassed what he was in Dark Empire, while he was massively injured, and has Force abilties Sidious wouldn't know about till it was too late. Sorry for the VERY late bump.
 
Luke was tired and injured from a fight with Caedus and actually pinned Caedus helplessly to a chair once when at full strength, completely overpowering him.
 
Luke was acutally described as a blur during that fight, and acknowledged Jacen as his equal in dueling, note Jacen was still severly injured from his torture from the Yuuzhon Vong, and from Mara, so Jacen was never at full strength during his reign.
 
going just by technique alone, sidious ******* destroys him. if we use the fact that he lived longer and has mastery over things that caedus cant even use yet, and things that caedus never even heard of, he also destroys. if we add in the fact that his dueling is much more refined and skilled, and that he is much smater, this is just plain old stomp in sidious' side
 
Jacen has techniques Sidious has never seen before, and fought a MUCH stronger Luke, while injured, and was keeping up, a Luke that would blitz Palpatine with no effort. Luke also scales above Yoda, who managed to disarm Sidious. Stop the Jacen downplay

You do realise that the Luke that fought Caedus was injured right?

"Luke stumbled back, his chest filled with fire. Jacen had caught him on the barely healed scar from his first fight with Lumiya, and now his breath was coming in short painful gasps.

Good, Luke thought. This was supposed to hurt."

Then Luke gets injected with Venom

"Jacen stopped pulling and started to swing his free hand around. Luke was ready, had been expecting this since the fight started. Still flying through the air, he raised his own hand, palm outward, and pushed the Force out through his arm to form a protective shield.

The lightning never came. Instead, Luke was blindsided by something heavy and spiky, and his body exploded into pain as he slammed into a durasteel wall. He found himself pinned in place, trapped by a bed of thorns Jacen had hurled across the cabin. He felt the hot sting of the thorns pumping their venom into him. His hearing faded and his head began to spin, and he saw Jacen, one hand still raised to keep Luke pinned, sneering and taking his time rising."

Now Luke has a wound that just reopened, and his body is full of Vong Poison. Still almost blitzed an Amped Caedus

Bad mistake.

Luke raised his lightsaber, slashing through the thorn bed as he sprang. Jacen scrambled to his feet, barely bringing his weapon up in time to block a vicious downstroke. Luke landed a snap-kick to the stomach that lifted Jacen a meter off the deck, then followed it with a slash to the neck-

-which Jacen ducked. He came up under Luke's guard, holding his weapon with one hand and driving a Force-enhanced punch into Luke's ribs with the other, striking for the same place he had kicked earlier. Luke's chest exploded into pain, and he found himself croaking instead of breathing.

Now Luke can barely breathe aswell. Sitll just smashes through Caedus guard

Luke struck again with his lightsaber, using both hands and putting all his strength into the attack, beating his nephew's guard down so far that Jacen's emerald blade bit into his own shoulder. Jacen kicked at Luke's legs, catching the side of a knee. Something popped and Luke felt himself going down. On the way, he swept his blade horizontally.

Jacen screamed, and the smell of scorched bone and singed hair filled the air.

now Luke struggles to breathe, figting with an re-opened rib wound, having Venom all over his bloodstream and also have a disabled knee. still dosen't stop Luke from dominating Caedus

Knowing Jacen would strike despite the wound, Luke rolled over his throbbing knee and spun back to his feet with a clearing sweep.

His blade met Jacen's in a shower of brilliant sparks. Luke freed one hand and drove a finger-strike at Jacen's eyes.

Jacen turned his head, but Luke's little finger scratched across something soft and bulbous. Jacen roared and stumbled away, shaking his head. Luke feinted a dash toward his nephew's blind side, then-as Jacen pivoted to protect his injured eye-Luke hit him with a Force wave.

Jacen went flying, and it required only a soft nudge to steer him into a tendril-draped rack in the far corner. He hit with so much cracking and crashing that Luke worried the rack had broken, but the thin tendrils quickly entwined Jacen in a net of pulsing green.

Then when he is about to deliver the killing blow, Ben inteferes making Luke almost fall over

Luke started forward, his injured knee buckling each time he put weight on it. The rack's slender tendrils were tightening around Jacen, cutting into his flesh and oozing a yellowish irritant that made skin puff up and split. Jacen began to slash his lightsaber up and down, cutting the vines away two and three at a time. If Luke wanted to finish this-and it seemed like a good idea, given how battered he was himself-he had only a few seconds.

Luke closed to within two meters without saying a word. What point would there have been? Jacen wasn't going to surrender, and Luke wouldn't have believed him if he offered. It was better to attack quickly, while he still had the advantage. He brought his lightsaber up to strike.

"Wait!" Ben cried from behind him. "Let me do it!"

Astonished and appalled, Luke put a little too much weight on his injured knee-and fell as it buckled. He rolled beyond the reach of Jacen's lightsaber and looked back across the chamber. Ben was still strapped in the Embrace, but he had summoned the vibrodagger off the floor and was battling to cut himself free of the chair's lashing tentacles.

Luke shook his head. "I don't think so, Ben."

"You have to!" Ben insisted. "I deserve it!"

"Deserve it?" Luke returned to his feet, far angrier with Jacen than he had been just a moment earlier. "To kill someone?"

"You don't understand, "Ben insisted. "It was my fault. If I don't do this..."

"I said no, "Luke interrupted. How could Ben believe that he had a right to kill someone? "You're very confused, Ben. We'll talk about this later."

Giving his son no further chance to argue, Luke turned back to Jacen, who by now was almost free. Only one leg remained caught, though it was still entwined in a half a dozen places. Luke limped forward, circling toward Jacen's trapped side.

Luke is freakin tiers above Caedus, scaling up to him dosen't work.in his favour. Sidious hovewer has shown the Capacity as of ROTS, decades pre prime to be able to bend lightsaber blades

Now Anakin was at Mace's shoulder. Palpatine still made no move to defend himself from Skywalker; instead he ramped up the lightning bursting from his hands, bending the fountain of Mace's blade back toward the Korun Master's face.

Palpatine's eyes glowed with power, casting a yellow glare that burned back the rain from around them. "He is a traitor, Anakin. Destroy him."

"You're the chosen one, Anakin," Mace said, his voice going thin with strain. This was beyond Vaapad; he had no strength left to fight against his own blade. "Take him. It's your destiny."

Mace's blade bent so close to his face that he was choking on ozone. "Anakin, he's too strong for me—"

Now Sidious grows even more powerful after this instance to the point where he can summon force storms capable of destroying entire fleets.

more like, rots sidious> caedus by a small margin, while de sidious>rotj sidous> rots sidous. so yeah, its kinda not-that-hard for sidious to win
 
During the fight he competed with Luke, Luke was injured from a fight with Lumiya. Also, read that one where Luke freezes Caedus
 
Mace and Sidious were literally described as fading in and out of existence from Anakin's POV, so....

We're talking Grandmaster Luke, although Dark Empire is at least comparable.
 
From what I remember, Palpatine beats Luke once and Luke beats Palpatine once (While amped).

They're evenly matched. If anything Sidious is slightly stronger (In DE).
 
Fading in and out of existence is poetic language, as Anakin was able to speedblitz Dooku, who was stated equal to Yoda in the Force, and Mace's superior in combat before he left, he then got stronger as a Sith, so you do the math. Also Luke surpassed Sidious by the Vong War, so by LOTF he's vastly more powerful, which gives Caedus advantage in skill/AP. And Luke is blitzing Palpatine, if you deny that, you didn't read Legends.
 
What!? when was Dooku ever stated to be equal with Yoda in the Force as Yoda was able to match Sidious when Sidious before has dominated Dooku with the force by force choking him across the galaxy and no Anakin didn't speedblitz Dooku they were fighting on par until Anakin got amped by the Darkside through his anger and overpowered him if he speedblitzed Dooku he would be dead before he could even react so those statements are absolutely wrong.

Sidious would still have more skill as he mastered every Darkside skill and even created new ones unless Darth Caedus has done so too Sidious has skill again in AP it's stated that Sidious is literally the most powerful Sith Lord/Darkside user aside from the Son and Abeloth and the Celestials which means he would have the AP advantage if anything.

Can you provide me proof that Luke could speedblitz Sidious just saying he could proves absolutely nothing and no fading in and out of existence is not poetic language and is an actual speed feat as in the novel Palpatine moved so fast Mace couldn't even react when Sidious killed Tin,Kolar and Fisto
 
Various statements have Dooku and Yoda equal in the Force, or at the least near equals. And no, Sidious absolutely overpowers Yoda in the Force, Yoda could barely hold back his attacks and primarily wanted a saber duel because he knew he had a disadvantage in the Force. And now I hand it back to you. Prove that Sidious could even touch Vong War Luke, much less NJO or FOTJ GM Luke. Caedus has already proven himself, show Sidious can do the same
 
Only an injured Luke. Before the fight with Lumiya, he was capable of literally sitting Caedus down in a chair and there was nothing Jacen could do about it.
 
You so easily to forget Caedus was also injured, and Luke only suffered a scar. Nothing implies that Luke and Jacen were overpowering the other in that fight, until the end when Luke overpowered him in the Force, even then Caedus stated only Luke worried him. Caedus, while missing an arm, a gaping hole in his chest, and destroyed organs still overpowered a Jaina who was amped by Luke's Battle Meditation, I repeat GRANDMASTER LUKE BATTLE MEDITATION, while in that condition

Makes me wonder why the hell Dooku is still 5-B but ight. Even then SW can be easily scaled to Outerversal, but I won't get into that here
 
@solobando, yeah, u dont say lol this guy literally fought yoda and has better statements than windu as well as feats, but a good ol' 5B always works huh lol ive beeing trying to put him, anakin, vader, and obi wan at 4B for awhile now, but everybody's like "nah bro, u dumb son" so yeah lol
 
Seems to be this site's motto:"If we don't agree with the proper scaling it won't be acknowledged". Like do you know how long it took Kratos to get to Universal here ?!? Lol, even then it's still downplay 😂😂
