(D&D) Composite Adventurer WIP Blog

Here's her 4e back story. It seems like when she got rid of Nerull (with help) the Gods limited her position. So maybe "2-C, possibly 2-A"? Or is everyone good with her just being 2-A

eventually, probably later, I will compile this shit into a list of hax with at least some examples for the page

yes

OH yeah , all beings with an Int score of 26 or higher should be classified as Supergenius being smarter then the Elder Brain which is Super Genius

In all fairness a lot of the gods should. Same for Wee Jas.

4e: Doesn't exist, it was removed.
This is inaccurate. The Wish spell exist in 4e, and a few monsters even have it in their statistics. It just that the spell was handed out to the DMs, and so it doesn't have mechanics. The DM has total control of the spell, making it the most powerful (and trollish) version of the spell ever (the only limits it has are the ones the DM want).

"Centered upon themselves, entropomancers can create a field of invisible, entropic energy that causes all magical healing to fail. More experienced entropomancers can creates fields that becomes strong enough to warp the laws of probability and causes wounds created within it to bleed profusely."

Probability and Law Manip in one thing, Daaammmnnn

Also:

"This ability allows entropomancers to have the ability to control a sphere of annihilatio while being personally unaffected by it. High-level entropomancers are often obsessed with acquiring these spheres."

So entropomancer is resistant to Void Manip (which I believe the Sphere of Annihilation falls under).

Also it does sound like Power Null vs Healing and Blood Manip.

"The object was actually a hole in the continuity of the multiverse.[1] Any matter that came in contact with a sphere was instantly sucked into the void, gone, and utterly destroyed, with the exception of artifacts.[1] Only the direct intervention of a deity could restore an annihilated character"

Huh, these things should be the justiifcation for mid godly on a lot of profiles

"Hardy Spirit

This ability allows the incantatrix to become immune to death and energy-draining attacks and effects."
You see, I want more Resistance to Death and Power Null.

"A Dreadmaster's charisma and raw power inspire others to commit themselves utterly to the Dreadmaster's will. They are willing to go to extreme lengths to please their Dreadmaster lord." Will Manip / Mind Manip

I remember that an old pantheon of gods made a sentient sphere of annihilation, but it was so powerful it just killed them all. Now it floats around the multiverse killing random people and pretending to be a normal sphere of annihilation

Sentient one must be far more powerful. Or alterntivly Gods don't have mid-Godly regen but Mod-Godly ressuerection.

Here's the quotes about it. Source is the Epic level handbook pages 223 and 224

A hovering sphere of absolute void, an umbral blot (sometimes called a blackball) is an extraordinarily dangerous opponent to any who come into contact with it.

When at rest, a blackball appears exactly like an over-large sphere of annihilation, a sphere of utter darkness. In fact, sometimes one will be encountered by an arcane caster armed with a talisman of the sphere, who commands it in the mistaken belief it is merely a sphere of annihilation and not the far more dangerous creature it actually is. The umbral blot sometime chooses to obey its pseudo-master for a time, before turning on her at the most inopportune time and disintegrating her for her presumption.

Some sages declare that the Old Ones, the gods who were before the gods of today, created umbral blots as messengers and sometimes assassins. A few even maintain that they were called "Assassins of the Elder Gods" in certain ancient texts because, having been created by the forgotten gods of yore, they destroyed their creators and have since roamed the cosmos idly, search- ing for any who may have escaped them.

An umbral blot is perfectly silent; it never speaks. Perhaps it understands the lost language of the Old Ones, but if so, no others are left to converse with now.

They can also bend the fabric of space and can teleport or go to other planes at will

> Planar Travel (Ex): A blackball can fold space at will, allowing it to use ethereal jaunt, dimension door, teleport without error, or plane shift at will as a standard action.

Hmm. Looking at it, its disintegration doesn't mention the ability to resurrect the thing it destroys. So if they can't resist it I guess it just perma-kills you. So the Gods built something that can destroy things with Mid-Godly regen. Nifty.

Anyways I was wrong about the Umbra Blot being just a sentient SoA. It seems more powerful in conjunction with sentience

IT should be specified on a lot of DnD pages the reason for mid godly is that spheres of annhilation, which turn everything they touch into complete nonexistence on all levels, can't permanently kill gods
