Still chi absorption doesn't seem in character plus it's close range from the looks of it.

Kai would probably use his summons while engaging in melee

Kai used chi absorption in literally every single one of his fights, I don't see how it isn't in character.

Also even if the absorption itself doesn't work, the transmutation should.

I don't remember saying it wasn't in-character. He doesn't always lead with it, sure, but his goal in every fight is to add his opponent to his collection.

Basically like this. He turns them into a jade statue and takes the chi from that.

So it's close range, and he doesn't seem to start with it.

Nets will definitely slice him into pieces and TP is going to hit him really hard.

Bets will not Slice him to pieces, he has enough dura to survive it.

He can also just dodge it. And TP gets him close to Kai which is the last thing he should do

He doesn't have the dura, he's 8-B compared to Cyrax's At least 8-B

Cyrax can dodge too, just that he has teleportation which is better

Cyrax's TP is basically him disassembling himself and reassembling in another location. During the process Kai is going to get hit by alot of body parts. Cyrax's AP advantage is going to make sure that he stumbles from that or gets obliterated by it.

Plus Cyrax has another TP where he can do it instantly and with a thought

Which is no where close to a one shot, heck that's not even a two times difference, so yes, he has the dura to survive.

Going to be much more difficult when the opponent is a much better fighter.

Kai can swing his blades to block most of the body parts.

Not a one shot, but it's still going to hurt him thanks to the AP advantage.

Cyrax can freely control those body parts, which means he needs to block multiple angles at once. Watch his X-Ray move.

Yeah I'll vote Kai. The AP gap is far less than 2x, and Kai's type 2 and limitless stamina help his endurance out. He's the far more skilled fighter out of the two, and so should be able to keep up with Cyrax despite his tricks. On top of this, Kai's absorption/transmutation will let him end the match there and then if he gets it off, and if Kai is having troubles with Cyrax he can summon jombified Oogway to overwhelm him with a 2v1, although idk if that would be necessary.

Blocking multiple angles at once isn't too difficult for a guy who blocked every atttack from the remaining furious 5 members and Shifu.

Meanwhile, Kai can at any point, raise his hands and GG

Cyrax isn't a very strong 8-B and doesn't seem to be haxxed at all, and is also outclassed here in most parts like experience and versatility.

How does Kai fare with Tremor?
