cthulhu size revision

in our post and in wikipedia, it stablishes that cthulhu is as tall as a mountain, but acording to this artclehttp://uncaringcosmos.com/how-tall-is-cthulhu/ cthulhu is only around 40 or 50 meters.so, whats actually the size of cthulhu?

The Uncaring Cosmos post is a ballpark estimation of Cthulhu's size, attempting to use actual solid measurements and physics for fun and to get a possible figure. However, Cthulhu's exact size is never given, and the official description in the mythos seems to refer to him as "miles high", which would make sense considering when following the steam yacht, his head is above the surface of the ocean despite him standing on the seafloor. If he were only 40-50 meters, he would be entirely submerged unless Johansen was much, much closer to the shore that the story implied. Going strictly with original mythos accuracy, I would stick with the initial description of "miles".

However, the real answer is that Cthulhu can probably be whatever size he needs to be, as he's a non-Euclidian monstrosity composed of a substance entirely alien to us and different from physical matter.
