Crimson Homura vs Hellfire Flame

Sorry for the delay, I had math work to do.
Hellfire can create a fiery shield to block attacks.
With that in mind it gives him a pretty good advantage in the fight.
Also I'm curious to see how Lifting Strength helps in this fight. Does Hellfire Flame usually restrain people?
He tends to lock blades with his opponent during combat, which is LS related I believe.

For the shield, while he technically could do that, it seems to be more a by product of him slashing his blazing blade around very fast.

On the whole skill thing, Garou is comparable in skill to Bang, able to learn entire fighting styles at a glance, who is comparably skilled to Flashy Flash, and Hellfire was able to land hits on FF during their fight (ie get past his gaurd), so they are at least in the same ballpark.

How I see it;

Raw AP: Crimson Fire (Small advantage) +

LS: Hellfire (Huge advantage) +++

Skill: Hellfire (Only a mild advantage) ++

Range: Pretty much a tie (While Crimson has TK, it is far too weak to restrain Hellfire, and Hellfire has a range of multiple meters with his "Fire Release Blazing Scatter Slash". Not to mention its primary purpose is to move 6 extra swords. While TK is inherently more powerful, how it mies with her opponent's stats is what evens it out.) =

Defensive/evasive skills: Hellfire (Mild advantage. Is able to make a shield like bubble around himself, is highly agile and able to run on walls.) ++

Hax: Crimson Fire (Mild advantage. TK, and her ability to sense where people are will likely nullify Hellfire's duplicates and stealth mastery) ++

Durability: Crimson Fire (Small advantage) +

Offensive Skills (Separate from AP, ability to mount and maintain offensive pressure): Hellfire (Small advantage. As his style is mostly composed of offensive strikes, with many abilities to take advantage of his offensive skill. Crimson does have like 6 swords though, so it's not an easy win there, and in fact, I won't give any points for it)

Hellfire: 7, technically 8

Crimson Fire: 4

Unless knew counter-arguments are made, my vote tennativly goes to Hellfire.

Homura can run up walls herself as well. I'm also certain she can run on water, but I need to check if that water was actual deep. They all need acrobatics but I forgot about it and I'm too lazy to do it right now.

However excellent analysis!

I would like to think that she is pretty skilled due to having clashed with the likes of Asuka and Miyabi, who themselves are well-trained shinobi but not nearly on the level of Hellfire due to his age granting him more experience in combat.

Also in this state she also defeated Rin as well since you forget to mention this one
Not that it'll change the outcome of this fight tho

Yeah 9 times out of 10 the person who is older will win a fight simply because more experience
Not really? The many times in shonen the old guys lose to the younger pupil who surpass them rather quickly. I'd say it's a 50/50 chances, or case by case.

Garou himself would crush Hellfire Flame in skill, and he is 18 I believe. While I admit to Hellfire Flame being more skilled just off his own showings, I don't see why he scaled to Flashy Flash who was holding back, and was was likely letting them hit him by moving slower than his max speed so they'd become overconfident and he could kill both at the same time.

This is just my opinion.

Case by case indeed, because if the character isn't the MC or the main antagonist they will get whooped by the master

Kenpachi was able to defeat Unohana (after multiple tries), but that doesn't mean he's more skilled than her right?
Good question, I would say that he just got lucky or he closed the skill gap between them (seeing as he one-shot his predecessor who I would assume should at least be as strong as Kenpachi 7 and 8) which in my mind wasn't that big, to begin with.

The same logic can be applied to Ichigo vs Byakuya, Byakuya should have more skill considering he is at least 200 years old, has an ability that is hard to master, and considered a prodigy along with having potentially recieved better training than Ichigo, who's 15 at the time, who incomparison went through a crash course bankai training, but Ichigo was able to defeat him in the end. But that doesn't make Ichigo more skilled than Byakuya

Basically age shouldn't be assumed to equal more skilled. People go more in-depth in this thread.

Since the conversation isn't relevant to this thread, as Hellfire Flame's actual showings in battle are superior.

Would you mind if I commited voter fraud then?
If you don't mind committing a crime against humanity than go for it.

Since we already have six votes, I'll vote Hellfire for the reasons above as well.

Which means we enter grace.
