controlled explosions?

Hello everyone! I wondered if there was anything (either something a character said during a fight or during a training ... or even a guide or an interview from Toriyama) that says db characters can controls the explosions caused by their attack.

For example, we know "everyone" became at the very least a planet buster since Frieza saga. But explosions (of ki blasts for example) only affect a quite small zone.

So I wanted to know if there were proofs that they can do small explosions but concentrate the power to wipe out planets, stars, SS, galaxies etc ... in that explosion.

PS: I am tired of stupid downplayers who say db cast can't even mountain bust because the kamehameha duel between Cell and Gohan only left a small crater (which is logical because if it actually destroyed the planet then eveyone would have died and dragon ball would be finished ...)

The fact that a small Ki blast destroys a planet is proof that DB have controlled explosion.

It doesn't matter the size of the blast, hat matters is the potency.
