Continuation Steven Universe Revision

Honestly, if it is decided that E-M should be used, I don't know why nodody calculates bigger Gems, such as the town sized Gem Monster Pearl defeated in the comics for example; that is a thing I really don't get, this wiki use E-M for some Gems, like Garnet or Amethyst, but for some other characters, it is just straight up ignored, even tho some Gems could give much better results; if you want to use E-M that's fine (I honestly don't care that much) but at least be consistent, don't just use for some and not for others.

A dozen feats? Seriously?

Please, try and list a dozen FTL / MFTL feats.

@Damage Okay:

  • The Roaming Eye (Surviving going FTL+)
  • Lapis flying to homeworld (MFTL+ feat)
  • Lapis leaving the milky and coming back (MFTL+ feat)
  • Peridot using the Galaxy Warp from Homeworld (Surviving going MFTL+)
  • The Gem Warship flying from Homeworld to Earth (Surviving going MFTL+)
  • The Diamond Warships flying from Homeworld to Earth (Surviving going MFTL+)
  • Pink's ship flying from Earth to Homeworld (Surviving going MFTL+)
  • The Sun Incinerator flying around the galaxy constantly for weeks (Surviving going bare minimum FTL)
  • Emerald's ship catching up to the Sun Incinerator (Surviving going bare minimum FTL)
  • Aquamarine's ship flying from Homeworld to Earth (Surviving going MFTL+)
  • Rose warping from the moon to Earth instantly (Surviving going FTL)
  • The Rubies flying to every planet in the solar system (Surviving going MFTL+)
There, one dozen feats of Gems either going FTL speeds or surviving FTL speeds. Worth pointing out some of these happen multiple times.

Typically in fiction people teleporting or travelling FTL in a spaceship doesn't mean they themselves have feats for going as FTL speeds.

I've never seen this argument be made for any other verse.

Connie was on Pink's ship too. She didn't "survive travelling at MFTL+ speeds". She herself was not travelling that fast, the ship was.

The only one of those you actually mentioned a Gem herself travelling at FTL speeds was Lapis and that was offscreen.

Gems currently have almost a dozen feats of either explicitly going FTL or surviving FTL-MFTL+ speeds.

I listed which feats were of them surviving going FTL and which feats were of the Gems moving at MFTL+ speeds under their own power just like you asked

Dude
Read what i said again carefully

I know for a fact you didnt
Dude.

Don't be patronizing.

Surviving going FTL and being inside a spaceship that is travelling at FTL speeds are very different things.

Nobody said they aren't different.
Weekly listed the feats of being inside spaceships as 'surviving MFTL+ speeds'. Seems to be implying they're the same things.

So, can you guys downgrade Pearl and Amethyst now? Seriously, when the change was already decided, but the pages aren't updated for a long time for now reason, it really bothers me, since it is leaving the pages outdated just cause.

I hate when I go to a thread and people are saying "tht is getting removed" or "that is going to be changed"; if it shouldn't be there, then just take it out, I don't want to have to guess what is or isn't trustworthy on the pages.

What was the issue with Pearl and Amethyst again? Besides, the justification about the satellize still needs tobe changed.

Also, I agree with Damage, teleportation do not count as speed nor traveling in MFTL ships prove anything. ANd don't think Peridot damaging Steven with the "what's in your shirt" trick counts as feat.

No one is saying that the feats of them surviving MFTL travel are them having MFTL feats, no one is saying that

Peridot slapped and punched him on two different occasions and harmed him

Me neither, but the ships has a system that protect gems against speeds faster than light, so being inside of one while traveling that fast do not say anything.

Also, weren't there an staement about Pearl or Amehtyst not being that inferior to Garnet?

While there might be, the only statement I can recall off the top of my head is Amethyst telling Garnet "You're so much stronger than us" during the Call for Help episode.

And yeah, I don't think Peridot slapping Steven and him being annoyed at it counts much towards her AP.

Quick question; why does Peridot have the Gem Warship's stats on her page when the Gem Warship page already exists for this purpose?

Shouldn't they be removed from Peridot's profile due to redundancy?

Peridot definitively do not scale to Pearl, she would have puffed her if she really wanted to. There's an entire episode telling us what she can do, bunch of boulders cause considerable damage to her to the point of immovilizing her.

ALso, what's the worm feat of what everyone is talking to?

@Antonio The boulder feat explicitly did no damage to her though, even Peridot remarked how she was far more durable than she looked

Welp, despite still not supporting the ide of E-M, the method is simple: just look for a real animal/object that assemble the creature and then use the cubic law, then compensate for density and you got the mass.

Thoughts on this?

I didn't say she couldn't use it, I said it's redundant to list the stats on her profile for it.

Just link in the page for it under her standard equipment, or anywhere else it would be appropriate.

Isn't like Peridot can use it any different than any other gem: if that key is used the battle is technically between X character and the Warship, that Peridot is piloting the Warship is completely irrelevant for the battle. Isn't like I want to remove the key, but I also think is irrelevant.
