Cole MacGrath sat down on his new makeshift throne, scanning the city he now owned. "Yeah, this is the life." Suddenly, a call came in over his radio. "Hey, man. You're not gonna believe this." Cole sighed. "What is it now Zeke?"

"The God of Thunder himself just showed up at Ground Zero. He's challenging you to a throw down." Cole stood up in shock. "Wait a minute. You mean that hammer guy with The Avengers?"

"That's the one. Says he's here to 'free the people of this fair empire' or something like that."

"Don't let him go anywhere." Cole said before hanging up.

Cole touched down on the outskirts of the massive crater. "Alright. I'm here."

"MacGrath!" Thor called out. "I see your minion has summoned you. You will terrorize Midgard no longer. I'll either accept your surrender now or beat it out of you with the might of Mjiolnir."

Cole summoned a Gigawatt blade. "How about I lob your arm off instead."

Thor via being 6x stronger

Legit vote not a stomp
Schnee , I'm disappointed. I thought you of all people would give more in-depth reasoning, given you love both characters.

I mean literally everything I could have said was said on the last thread by Monkey lol

That was in a thread where Cole had the AP advantage, with a much different mindset, personality, and skill set then this version of him.

No it wasn't

This is inFAMOUS 1 Cole, same as the one in the previous

The only thing different is he's more bloodthirsty

Evil Cole also has more of an emphasis on AOE and brute force over precision. Being able to throw more grenades, attack for longer without needing to recharge, throw a frankly ridiculous amount of missiles compared to his good counterpart, etc. I just feel a more in-depth analysis can be done.

I guess so

Stil, the AP difference is more then enough to give Thor the win IMO, even if Cold holds the advantage in everything else but skill

Eh, fair enough. Sorry for hounding you. It just erks me when I go through the effort of telling a story and someone just says "character via this one power/hax/aspect of the fight".

Believe me I get it's annoying.

Believe me when I say I would add more if there was.

Granted, PTSO and DMUA may have something to say so I'll wait on them

Don't know anything about InFAMOUS, but after a look at some of Cole's powers I think Thor would be able to redirect most lightning or electrisitc attacks. Never the less, kinda scared of Sadistic Strike and Skull Bolt as they say they ignore durability.

Want to give it to Thor on the back of his durability and strength, but am open to suggestion as I DON'T KNOW anything about InFAMOUS.

Just pointing out that Cole can do the same. In fact, he can absorb the lightning to amp himself and heal, but the AP means that it'll still hurt like hell.

Okay so they're 4 KM away by SBA

Cole does have enough distance to play a range game, but hammer propulsion provides a lot of mobility that'll take care of that right away. His durability negation is useful, but, not all that much against someone that much stronger

Yeah Thor for reasons above, IE, hitting him alot.

I'm sure Cole could, but I hope Thor learned from blasting Ironman that, If you hit them with lightning and they get stronger, its time to stop using lightning. Thor could instead throw his hammer as a versitile but slower ranged attack.

Thor throwing his hammer isn't gonna go to well for him cause if he misses Cole's gonna go to town while he's vulnerable with rockets and grenades.

He has shown to be able to throw his hammer in many creative ways that would probably not miss Cole, and even if they do, Cole won't be able to do all that much without durability negation due to AP gap

What, you thought I was gonna give a long, overly detailed response on how Cole can actually win? We'll guess what, YOU WERE WRONG

Oh yeah

I just remembered Prime AM went down to 7B
I literally brought that idea up like instantly after we downgraded him

I mean, he's only interested in being a tyrant of Empire City which is kinda New York

On second thought I might switch to Laxus

Edit: Eh screw It Ill do it now.

Question, why is Thor mad at Cole? Yeah, I know it's Evil Cole but what has he done to Midgard anyway.
It probably has something to do with the "killing thousands of people for a quick power up" thing. As an Avenger, Thor could likely see that as something he should take care of and, given that he has no way of knowing that Cole' content with Empire City, may be assuming he's a threat to the rest of Midgard.

Right so. Lemme correct myself in an honestly embarrassing way.

I always thought the storm feat in the first avengers movie was the one Thor scaled to. But then I remembered CAPE and double checked what the feat was

And it was this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lnfmmp_Kjek

....A charged attack by Thor that knocked himself out and sent him into the ocean.

Also I remembered this from Mami vs Rukia https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/2145592?useskin=oasis

Where we can apparently treat it as people having a + in AP but not on the profile at the end of the thread.

Retract my vote because I feel I was wrong

I mean, didn't we already make a Cole vs AM thread which was shut down cause Cole ended up versatility stomping?

Unless I'm being stupid and misunderstanding something

So.

Thor can just lay Cole on the ground with Mjioner perfectly fine if he gets the hit whether this is in character or not IDK, Cole's lightning in terms of versatility is>>>>Thor, on top of being highly resistant to lightning. That said, Mjioner is incredibly dangerous as it pins Cole down immediately and it's game over, plus Thor has the intelligence and experience by a good margin plus the still notable but not as big AP gap.

Cole eats Thor's lightning with mid difficulty, regen is just as good as Thor's and can be further amped by draining electricity. Cole has superior range game (homing rockets, omnidirectional blasts, attack reflecting shockwaves, etc). Being in Central Park guarantees that Cole has access to dozens of energy sources to use for healing and recharging, and can potentially use them to amp his power further. Also can fling metal benches at Thor to distract him or to buy time. Also keep in mind that Good Cole's grenades can also trap its targets in arc restraints (which means that's its Cole's class G vs Thor's class M). His rockets can reverse gravity, along with his shockwaves, and they can track enemies. Thor's only real methods of victory it to either get up close and beat Cole to death with his strength (which is gonna be hard due to Cole's regen, ability to coat himself in lightning, release shockwaves, and gigawatt blades could cost Thor an arm), or to use Mjolnir to pin him. As explained above, Thor only has like 2 feats of doing this (the Hulk one doesn't count cause it wasn't Hulk being trapped underneath the hammer, Hulk was too fixated on lifting he hammer to let go), so it's likely not gonna be one of his early moves.

Due to the really huge AP gap, Incon, had it been comparable or superior, Cole.

I was copy pasting from the previous thread, I forgot to mention that, sorry.

They are better though, so that helps

Should all the previous Thor votes be discounted since they were using your reasons, Shnee?

Hold on man there's like 3 Cole matches up lol
I've had a 7-A Cole match in mind for eons that I'm never going to do.

Just in case anyone was wondering.

They weren't, but just in case they were.
