Classic Doomguy Speed Upgrade

Currently, Classic Doomguy movement speed is scaled to him outrunning his Rocket Launcher which is scaled the RPG-7 as 300 m/s or Subsonic+. Looking into Doom 1, the Rocket Launcher travels 700 map units per second. Scaled to the RPG-7, there are 0.428571428571 meters per map unit.

The Plasma Gu and BFG 9000 projectiles move at 875 map units per second or 375 m/s or Transonic.

The Super Shotgu is rated as Supersonic. This should also be applicable to Classic Doomguy's Super Shotgun.

Finally, Classic Doomguy outruns Rockets at least 1235.12 map units per second or 529.337142857 m/s or Mach 1.54325697626 or Supersonic. In return, his reaction speed should be an unknown degree higher.
 
Seems pretty legit from a glance; at least for PLasma Gun and BFG. But where is Doomguy's speed specifically stated to be 1235.12 map units per seconds? He does outrun his own rockets by significant proportions, so I don't doubt his regular movement speed being Supersonic or above, but it's generally preferable to either have specific statements or speed calc'd using a video or something; and making use of watch frame by frame among other things.
 
Looks good; Doomguy runs point A to Point B in roughly 3 seconds while the RPG is roughly 5 seconds; so would be around 500 m/s yes. I will use Watch Frame by Frame for more exact measurements and perhaps make a blog about it.

I have made the blog; result was 553.846153846 m/s or Mach 1.614711818793003.
 
So the calc was accepted, will update the profiles accordingly.
