I don't think so. If they were same-sized, Thanos seems the more skilled and could do something about it, but as it is...
Also, Thanos' army is very inferior to him, isn't it?

Well, yeah, it would, but Thanos would had the opportunity to attack any way. This isn't a stomp, just a very decisive victory for Charles. Thanos army evens the odds a bit but not enough to change that.
In particular, Charles' size would allow him to stampede all over Thanos' army.
