Changing the name of our wiki's Weapons category

Keep Itemes, and I guess merge inanimate objects into items?

Well, I personally think that inanimate objects sounds more specific and professional than items, but am very open to further input.

Merging them should be fine. However, I think "Items" is a bit more intuitive of a name than "Inanimate Objects"; by that, I mean people are probably more likely to look for a category called "Items" when looking for objects than "Inanimate Objects", which should make profiles in that category easier to find.

It's a subtle enough difference, though, that there isn't much grounding for a preference one way or the other.

Okay. I suppose that I can merge Inanimate Objects into Items instead if our staff members prefer this.

Does this seem like a good solution to you?

My stance doesn't change, I am still neutral. Though, I do agree that the category "Items" seem easier to find. That's just my personal take on it though.

Inanimate objects sounded more professional but well. If everyone are fine with Items then I'll be as well.

Inanimate Objects may be more professional, but it's also terribly boring and somewhat stuck-up-our-own-ass. Items is shorter, simpler and accomplishes the same thing.

Thank you for the replies. 🙏

Thank you for the reply. 🙏

I will merge our Inanimate Objects category into our Items category now then.

Late as usual, but Hop agrees to this. Clarification is always nice on a wiki that considers its primary focus to be indexing. That said, can someone catch Hop up with the general consensus on how we further define these? Otherwise, Hop will return next week to read the entire thread. Thank you.

If you were wondering where Hop was, check his profile and look at the newest post.

I thought that we were finished in this thread. What, if anything, is left to do here?

Okay. I will close this thread then.

Thank you to everybody who helped out here. 🙏
