I would not say that selfishness is pure evil. Which leads me to what I have to say below...

It seems like we have different standards when it comes to what is considered "evil", or "pure evil". I think before we get any further into this, it's just going to be easier to say that we have contrasting mindsets.

Oh yeah, I know, I dount anyone would actually call Denji pure evil otherwise.

Going by the most common defined definition of the phrase "Pure Evil" Makima would not be classified as pure evil, as even she has a moral compass and compassion for set characters (Pochita) as well as a reasonings for doing the things she does.

I just assumed that the inner parts are still there, since it's the Ears Devil, not the Hearing Devil, only the skin-flap radio-dishes were deleted. So hearing is still possible, it's just much more difficult- everyone's like snakes basically.
