Carnage vs Alex Mercer

Speed cannot destroy Alex alone. Carnage has to make sure he "consumes" or disintegrate all of Alex's cells so he wont regenerate, One shot of a devastator can cripple Carnage and Alex can consume Carnage because he is still basically made of biomass.

Not really I mean, Carnage is an alien symbiote so, he's not really made of biomass. And, Carnage is practically insane and since he is capable of keeping up with Spiderman, he can just go all-out and probably even blitz kill Alex whereas Alex's speed is way too low to handle Carnage.

Unless speed is equalised, it would be completely one-sided.

Actually Cletus isn't an alien symbiote, only the suit and even though the suit is an alien symbiote it is still made of biological mass since it is an organism, since he is insane Alex can make a strategy with him being smarter from the many people he has consumed and spideys movement speed is supersonic to witch Alex can keep up with the only speed difference being combat and reactions. His weaknesses are Sonic and Heat attacks and if Alex uses either his knuckle shockwave or ground shatter moves at the right time then he could blow off the symbiote and consume Cletus.

While there's a large difference in speed, Mercer does make up for it in versatility, intelligence, his ability to absorb biological mass and his extraordinary Regenerationn that will make it extremely hard for Carnage to put him down.

I'd give this to Mercer mid-diff.

Oh wow. I was actually rooting for some other character against my favourite and surprisingly, you guys made it seem so easy to realise what Alex can still do against such an enemy. Cool.

And, I did mean that the suit is the symbiote and Cletus is Carnage. I was just being really vague.

I root for Alex then.

i side with mercer via reasons above...though he has to be careful cause carnage having the edge in speed may overwhelm his regen (at least that's how i think his regen works)

@Yomi

You could argue that he could hit somebody with low enough regen fast enough to overwhelm it, but by the time it gets to the level of complete body regen from a puddle (Low-High), speed seems to be void unless the person actually has more destructive powers.

hmmm...i guess you could say that

Alex mercer wins due too various of his abilities and this guy can regenrate from being hit by Nuclear explosion
