Captain's Hat (Majora's Mask)

Isn't it supposed to be that the Stalchilds (Stalchildren?) only recognize you as Keeta because you're wearing his hat, the King of Ikana even thinks you look like Keeta but then realizes that you're not him

and this also seems to only work on Stalchilds (Stalchildren?), as other undead beings (Redeads, Gibdos) do not fall for the Captain's Hat
