Cannibalized Worm: Alpha RP Thread 2

[At this point, I'd wait until it's nearly fully red before I throw it back, that way the grenade explodes at his foot]

Jack, seeing that this philosophical debate will give him plenty of time, starts looking around him for possible ways to escape. He analyzes what weapons the guards have, what possible escape routes he can take, and if this newcomer could potentially bust down the door if there's nothing Jack can get out of himself.

I pout at my inability to indentify what's on the other side of the glass

Blake uses her X-Ray Vision to try see what's on the other side of the door.

Joseph starts punching the glass of his tube, to try break it.

As you move, the pieces of grass on the corpse grow and start stretching toward you.

The bed flips over to reveal a slide.

@Dargoo

The figure doesn't move or respond, its gaze fixated on the ground.

The cell doesn't give you the right angles to be able to see the entirety of the area, but form what Jack can make out, there are no windows in the room. The weapons the guards are holding are PRT foam launchers and the only exit seems to be the entrance to the room.

Blake sees that the door opens to a hallway. The glass cracks from Joseph's attempts and the liquid starts leaking out of the tube.
 
S.R.E.E.s A.T.S. activates. she makes a perfect shot, shooting the plant zombies head and the arm extending towards her.
 
".... They really know their stuff. They brought incapacitation methods instead of blunt weapons. They're dedicated to this... Though I already figured that."

Jack looks at Klawz again, hoping he picks up on the fact that he'd have to be busted out to get out.

Confused, Wind continues her approach until she's standing next to him. She waves her hand where it's visible.

"Are you alright?"

She then looks down to see what he's looking at.

I notice Joseph is trying to break out.

Eh, better than doing nothing i guess, thought i think only he and Blake have the strenght necessary to break this tubes.

Sun Wukong and Natalie start cheering Joseph, who continues trying to destroy the glass with his punches

Merlin is scratching his "nose".

Blake tries to look even further ahead, while also trying to break herself out of the tube by repetedly judo kicking it.
 
"They are still contributing to the evil this society suffers from," Klawz responded sternly to the woman. "Their backstory gives them no justification for their actions."
 
[Kiryu you need to yeet, this woman's going to rip you a new one]
 
Jack figures "to hell with this"

Jack: Listen, kid, save the philosophy and put actions behind it. I bet there's something you've got to break the door down.

Jack gets up, ready to burst out of the cell, grab a gun and take down the guards as fast as possible

The head and limb explode into mush and guts. The corpse falls down and doesn't move again.

You make some cracks in the glass, causing the liquid to start draining out.

The slide takes down the exact same path, landing you on your bed again.

As she gets closer to the figure, it turns around and its identity is revealed as the gangster who blew up! He's holding an unpinned grenade in each hand. A large explosion occurs and Wind is jolted out of her sleep.

@Overlord

Joseph breaks through, making a large enough hole that he can get out of. Blake starts making cracks in the glass.

@Kiryu/DMUA

At Jack's words, half of the troopers point their launchers at him while the other half keep their weapons trained on Kiryu. The woman continues to talk to Kiryu.

"And yet their evil is caused by society. Would you have everyone who commits any crime executed on the spot? Even a man who just took some food to feed his starving children because his boss fired him?"

The grenade becomes completely red and disappears before you both feel an intense force, knocking the two of you far away and into the air. You see the wolf fly off into the distance since he was closer to the explosion. You are in the air, higher than the buildings near you.
 
Wind woke up, putting both hands on her mouth instinctively while letting out a supressed scream.

She thought about rousing her teammates, but didn't really want to talk about the situation. She needed to get out.

Attempting to keep silent, she worked her way into her costume, and left the room to get a breath of fresh air. Usually, flying (well, it wasn't proper flight like many capes had, it was more like making a small tornado with differences of air pressure underneath herself) helped clear her head, and most of the PRT was out on solo patrol anyways.

She briefly thought about going back to sleep, before remembering some of the details of her dream and continuing down the hallway at an increased pace, greeting some of graveyard shift workers as she past them by.

She keeps an ear open to notice if there was any disturbances as she worked her way towards the exit of the building.
 
I continue hitting where I managed to form the cracks while also trying to see it I could see any further in the room now
 
Peraphs i am overstimated the durability of the glass

I start trying to break the glass too, by shoulder bashing it.

Natalie and Sun Wukong, getting pumped by Joseph's glass shattering, start punching their glass tubes.

Merlin hits the glass of the tube with his walking cane.

Joseph, exists the tube and tries to help Merlin get out by punching his container.

Blake continues doing Judo Kicks.
 
Jack realizes this, then starts mapping out an attack strategy.

"Alright, I don't know if the foam will work through the door, if it did, they probably would have already pulled the trigger. If it does though, I need to get out as soon as Klawz makes a big enough opening, get close enough that their range won't work to their favor, and just hit them all with a clothesline. Then I'll grab their guns and take out whoever's left, though first I'd have to deal with the other launchers.
 
"Feeding your family is one thing," Klawz responded, slowly standing up on all fours as he began walking to the front of Jack's cell. "Anyone could be justified to helping others survive. But gangstars? They only care for themselves. They survive through causing the suffering of others. They give almost no thought to the consquences they might cause." The chimera was beginning to tense up, feeling as though conflict was soon to arise.
 
Varielle decides to cut free the others still trapped in thr tube.

Legion tests to make sure varielle is nearby by making a glass cutter to free himself as well.

Dr. Nucleus decides to wait for her companions to escape due to the inherent danger bullet helling herself could cause.

You go up the staircase, it being a quiet trip. Eventually as you're going up you notice a large muscled figure in the hallway of the level that you've arrived at.

@Crimson

The bed flips over, revealing a slide.

@Dargoo

The building is strangely quiet, none of the employees doing anything that would make a lot of noise.

@Stand

You clip the side of the building and break through the window, landing on the floor in a pile of glass.

@Paul

You broke through the glass, making a large hole and letting you see the rest of the room. To the side, there was a panel on the wall with several buttons. On the other side of the room, there was a large door.

@Overlord

All of you crack the glass of your tubes. The ones that already made cracks create large holes in the glass.

@Tota

Varielle successfully cuts large holes open in the tubes for everyone to get out. Legion escapes his tube without issue.

@Kiryu/DMUA

The launchers are still firmly aimed at Klawz and Jack. The woman keeps talking, the blur around her hands moving with more energy.

"What makes you think a gangster isn't trying to feed his family? A gang is a lot safer way to make money than trying to become a criminal by yourself. Some of them don't even join willingly, forced in by threats from other gangsters."

I slowly get up. "Ok, that didn't go out the way I expected it to." I look for an exit from the building.
 
I continue tring to break the tube, so do Sun Wukong and Natalie.

Blake exists from the opening created, then she and Joseph look at the other people that, like themselfs, also just broken out from glass tubes.

"Indentify yourselfs."

Blake tells them, while using her Power Sight to see if they have superpowers.

Meanwhile, Merlin gets out of his glass tube and goes check the terminal.
 
Legion introduces the group. "My name is Legion, my compatriots are Dr. Nucleus. And Varielle. I'm quite the utilitarian if you want my help you'll need to help me. Now who might you be?"

Varielle groans.

Dr. Nucleus checks out the room keeping an eye out on the others.
 
"She's Blake, i am Joseph."

Joseph explains.

Sun Wukong and Natalie break trought their tubes, having heard the conversation trought the cracks.

"Sun Wukong"

"Natalie."

They both present themself.

Joseph then points his arm at the white creature checking the terminal.

"He's Merlin."

Then i break trought the glass too.

"Name's Elizabeth."

I say while walking out of the tube.

"So, who are you ?"

Blake asks at @Paul.
 
Klawz was silent for a moment as he stared at the woman, his stoic expression unwavering in what felt like hours but in reality was only a few seconds.

"You might have a point," The chimera seemingly conceded as he appeared to relax. "Sometimes, we all have to do bad for the sake of others."

If one were to look closely, they could almost see Klawz ever so slightly smirking as he copied the woman's powers.

"And sometimes, we have to break a few rules just to help out now and then."

Shifting into the form of a gorilla, Klawz generated a steel machete in his left hand with the copied energy as he sprang forward, swinging at the woman with a diagonal slash.
 
Jack watches as Klawz leaps at the woman, and grits his teeth.

"Should have known today wouldn't be an easy day of any kind"

If any gun was close enough to the cell for Jack to reach it, he immediately jabbed his hand through the gaps in the bars and tried to rip one out of their hands, get it into his own hands, and start blasting the other gunners
 
Everyone must be out on patrol, I guess. Wind thought.

She walked through the lobby, having a light conversation with the attendant [If she's there], informing them she couldn't sleep, and that she was going on a solo patrol. Additionally, she checked to see if there was any major reports of criminal activity in the city before walking out.

Reaching the entrance, Wind is met with a breeze of mild air, salty with the scent of the nearby bay. She puts on her goggles, extends her arms and flies a circle around the building before taking off.
 
I go next to Joseph and Blake, whispering to them,

"Does either of you have any idea of why we are here."

"Negative"

Blake whispers back, while Joseph shakes his head in a negative sign.

I then turn towards Eden.

"Nope, we do not know."

i respond to his question.

Meanwhile, Sun Wukong and Natalie get close to the rest of the team too.
 
"Well then I guess we should be heading out. I don't think we should stay in a place where we woke up in test tubes." I say as I turn and head towards the door
