Can you find Mass using KE and speed

I know that Speed from Mass and KE is a no go but what about mass from speed and KE, probably only works in a few scenarios but I thought this could be helpful when it comes to irregularly shaped high speed projectiles with known KE
And finding LS with that mass

We don't have any rules against it but it is a pretty interesting question. My knee-jerk answer would be "no" but idk

Oh ok
Just needed to know because one of my calcs really relies on this to find LS
Lol wonder if anyone else says anything tho regarding this question

You should be allowed to do so if you know how fast the object was moving and how much KE was generated from that moving object...

which you can't really find without seeing the aftermath of the destruction that particular object caused after hitting something/crashing somewhere.

Well in my case scenario with my Calc that’s relying on the mass yeah there was a blatant aftermath of the impact so thx

Do not calculate speed from kinetic energy: The kinetic energy an object was calculated to possess, in any way whatsoever, should not be considered as related through its speed. While the formula technically can be used to relate those values in both direction this is disregarded in practice. One reason for this is that fiction in general differentiates between the attack potency and the speed of a character. Another reason is that it returns unrealistic values, as even a Small City level+ punch would already have Relativistic+ speed. Out of similar reasons mass should also not be calculated from it.

From here.

Damn I missed that
Well that’s a yikes then

In the real world, yes.

On site, probably not.
