Calamity RP - Game Thread

Kazuya looks around for a tall building in the area. He makes his way to the roof of it before using his ability to create a sniper rifle which he uses to survey the area and all the people still nearby.

With nothing interrupting it any longer, the sphere reaches it's soft expansion cap of fifty meters, the heat emitted starting to melt the buildings all around it ... though more importantly, it begins changing.

Plasma shifts around, as the mass molds, a body taking form, arms, legs, and of course, an neck and head, with two red circle on it resembling eyes standing out in the otherwise fully light-yellow shape.

It looks at the sky, emitting a third, though less intense the the first two, roar.

@The_Divine_Phoenix [Mind describing me the current state of the sky ? Most precisely, clouds]

@People investigating where this is/leaving the immediate area

While the area is dilapidated to the extent that it is hard to really tell what was once here, a few crumbled signs reveal the place. Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

A few crumbled casinos can be found as well, to further affirm this notion.

The area is scarcely inhabited, and doesn't seem to be home to much besides the occasional scavenger in this regard, though some more detailed searching could probably find a few more people around.

@People who want to investigate the sounds.

With some searching, one could find the source of the sounds. A moderately sized drone, one that, to those who know the technology or live in this world, would recognize as a scouting drone often used by a certain organization.

@People with the civilian

The man is rather shocked as he is taken away, and then the others arrive not long after.

Distance is made from the star based disaster successfully, and the man looks very shaken, but mostly unhurt.

"W-what's going on? A-are you going to kill me?"

He still seems quite terrified.

Squinting up at the signs, unsure. The unfamiliarity causes the woman to stumble back instead of forwards. Looking almost frightened if that almost dead look in her eyes didn't keep her emotions under veil. Her hands instinctively reach upwards to cradle her head. Her mind feels so empty, devoid of anything but these new experiences. Her memories ... were they even a thing in existence? Clouds of uneasiness swarm her brain instead of collected thoughts. She recites the words she sees as if any of them could bring back a repressed memory. No dice. She's never seen anything like this before.

"Lays..... Veegas."

Whatever .... Lays Veegas was, she still had no sense of direction. An innate desire to follow the path of others, to let herself be commanded resides within her body. That is the only instinctual feeling she can connect with; the only thing that feels familiar besides a certain name, and her own behavior. But she is like a sheep without a herder. Without anyone else, what was her purpose in this world. The others ... just who were they? Did they even matter? Were they like her?

"Mmm I'll have to take care of that, maybe a strategy to neutralize the drone and get its memory can help me" he said to himself as he looked around looking for a way to capture the drone.

"U...S...A?" Agatha would ponder, however she would nod, taking it mentally. However, she wanted to see more far than just this, and so she put a lot of strength into her legs, leaping up quite high as she tried looking to her surroundings with her vision.

Swarm 2053 exits the building before bursting into a run.

The collective of swarm meets outside the city and starts to multiply.

Now in the hundreds Swarm renters the city looking for other calamities to join up with.

"Huh, Las Vegas wonder what that is, well it being in English and the signs being old as all get out would make me think terra but terra is long gone, it got jarred millennia ago, but different reality different timeline this is going to be fun to look around with, never got the proper chance to see it seeing as the museum wouldn't let me anywhere near it due to me being me" stopping his momentum he would go to loot the casinos "Might as well get what I can" was what he was thinking then

While not entirely sure what a "casino", as indicated by some signery, is meant to be, the name of the general area, Las Vegas, is known by the male, This is very far from where it was, something quite concerning,

Not having many other options, the male increases the iron content of it's blood considerably for a moment, discerning the cardinal directions in relation to it's current position. It then heads east, maintaining a low, hidden profile as much as possible.

After taking a look at how things are down there, as well as all the people talking, Aleisa sighs, her silverish white hair swaying as she does.

"Yeah."

The responce was to no one in particular. Peharps it was at everything else she was bombarded with at the moment, or to nothing said.

Regardless, i am paying attention. So, me and a few others are somewhat of a foreign element to this world, huh? Interesting.

"We should leave, right? I've got the hang of flying."

“Yes, that sound is from a drone of a potentially dangerous organisation. They keep the order of this World by keeping Calamities in check. While we have done nothing it would be better to not be found even near that Planet thing”

"I would recommend the ocean. I know my way around it, and it's depths. Course I don't like bloody children running around my place but meh meh meh."

"Haaaaah....."

She shivers slightly, a hum emitting from her hands. Soon, a set of golden sigils created out of what looks to be some sort of magical energy, ancient designs appearing on their constantly rotating forms. Turning like clocks in opposite directions of one another. She reels her arms backwards upon instinct, shutting her eyes. Their shining light, however, is only temporarily, as from out of their centers dashes out two concentrated blasts of ice, their force propelling the mysterious woman's body forwards, angled, into the air, and towards a shorter, nearby building. Her feet land effortlessly upon it's somewhat stable rooftop, scouting out the area for herself. Still nothing seems familiar. There's a chilled breath escaping her as she can only repeat the question she's been asking herself since the start.

"Why ... ?"

"I would recommend the ocean. I know my way around it, and it's depths. Course I don't like bloody children running around my place but meh meh meh."
“That could work, I should however note that those drones tend to hold some fairly good information. Nabbed a few myself, you just have to be careful”

"And where is it we should go to? I am unfamiliar with this land. I would not know where the ocean is." Raine says to Dimitri while placing his sword back at his side, where it just kind of keeps hanging.

Whisker-like extensions stand up stiff, as Karcer closes his eyes. A second later, he turns his head to the west.

"I smell the salty breezes and putrefaction of my kin from the West. If we travel for a little while, we should arrive soon. When we do, let me do the rest."

“While I know where the Ocean is im sure our friend here (Gestrues to Crab) would know if far better than I do” he says as he grits his teeth in admitting a lack of knowledge.

Looking at the city and drone they decide to merge laughing hundreds if not more fuse into a large entity that resembles a human that rapidly starts expand before trying to hunt down the drone.

We will secure the future of our kind and destroy the origin of this hunting drone.

"I see... well let's - "

Raine glances at Aleisa, who seems ready to go.

" - Yes let's go."

He rockets off to the west.

"Don't bust your balls over it lad, there's some advantages that come with being an old hermit fart."

"If the geography of the planet is the same as the one i came from, then- yeah, east should be the oceans."

She kind of throws the crustacian old man into the air and catches him with her back. Kind of like a piggy back ride. While doing so, her hoodie fell off her head, revealing a face that is 10 years younger than what she actually is. Her skin is smooth and fluffier than it has any right to, considering how she didn't take care of it. Her long, silverish white hair, cover her crimson-red calamity eyes.

"Hold on tight. Let's get going."

She then blasts off, faster than the speed of sound.

"Sounds like a good idea. We are more likely to find life around bodies of water... But should we be worried about that?" Alexander says while tilting his head in the direction of the swarm attacking the drones.

Dimitri follows the others reducing his gravity to Zero and propelling himself forward (While at the same time keeping him self going striaght and not up).

Aleisa looks at the guy who was also here but didn't say much with confusion in her eyes.

"Sorry, i can't hear you. Mach speeds and all."

"...Guess not."

Alexander manifests wings of Aether and uses to them to fly after them.

"So whats the exact plan, besides evacing the vicinity where the loose canons and hostiles are?"

“We dont have one at the moment, we can come up with one once we reach the sea” Dimitri shouts as he flys next to the man.

"If you kids would let me speak FOR FIVE MINUTES BEFORE YOU TOOK OFF LIKE BLOODY ROCKETS, I was about to say I've got a place. We can use it."

“Wonder where those guys are headed?” Kazuya thinks as he watches the group flying off to the east. “Well staying here isn’t gonna help me figure this situation out and they seem to have at least some idea in mind so why not.” He dematerializes his sniper and jumps off his perch following the group on the ground.

"Pointing ain't working. When we get to the sea's edge, I'll take the lead."

Aleisa takes note of the man following the group in the ground, before nodding to the old man.

Now, while we go there, let's try to sort everything out.

@Overlord775

Clear for the most part. A few clouds on the horizon. You also notice the titanic flesh being trying to hunt something down not too far from you.

@Lou_change

The drone is small, while you are rather large. You lose sight of it rather quickly, and the whirring soon subsides, leaving little trace of it behind.

@People with the civilian

"There's a... small community East of here, near the lake. The city isn't safe. There's an... exclusion zone not too far North of it."

The young man stated as he was being carried.

@ocean group

The air on the way to the ocean is clear for the most part, if one paid attention, they may notice many smaller groups and communities down below on the way there, and especially closer to the coast, as human communities often tend to be. Another thing they notice, after a brief moment, is a flying object that appears to be following them, not a drone this time, something much faster.

@Exploration people

The city has little in the way of notable things. A few broken down tents, many collapsed buildings. Looting does not end up amounting to much either, though some money can be found in places, as well as various valuable objects left behind long ago. A few craters can be seen as well, sizable ones. One would reckon the traces of an old battle, or perhaps a bomb.

@Hl3_or_bust

Heading east brings a lake into sight not long after, there appears to be a notably large survivor camp at its shore. A few more craters are seen along the way there as well, but not any near the place itself.

@ZephyrosOmega

Making her way out of the immediate danger that some of the others may pose, she finds herself in the dilapidated city. Occasional sounds of movement can be heard, as well as louder ones indicating where the others have went. She feels as though she is being watched.

“Something is following us at quite fast”

Dimitri says as he turns to face it albit his flight path doesnt change.

"So slow down to deal with it or try to speed up in an attempt to escape?" Alexander asks casual, unconcerned about the thing trailing them.

"If I may interject, my experience with such things is often "KILL THE SLOBBERING BASTARD" and ask questions later."

“I feel we should at least know what we are attacking, blindly engaging it may turn out… bad” he says with a tick as his head twitches.

Aleisa uses her energy senses to see what kind of energy is being used by it and how. Also more immediatly, she increases her eyesight to see what it actually is.

"I have a feeling a full on fight near the water coast may be bad, with all the people here."

Although she doesn't care for people in general, Aleisa hates the thought of humans dying. Especially those who are weak and overpowered.

Crap where did everything go. We now have no advantages

With this their large form collapses and hundreds of members of swarm split off to find others most having bone weapons the calamities rule will be defended forever by the swarm. The large body breaks down leaving the results of it's actions the only evidence of it's existence.

Immediately upon noticing the flying object Kazuya reforms the sniper along with a scope and uses that along with his amplified sight to try and get a better idea of what they were facing.
