And we come to our second to last battle. It's been a long and hard fought tournament. And these two are ready to battle it out for a spot in the finals. We have our 2 time winner, Deathstroke, from the DC Comics, Submitted by Psychomaster35, Going up against another two time winner, Master Chief, from the Halo Series, Submitted by Jackythejack

The Current Standings

Speed is equal

Anything higher than 8-C is restricted

Master Chief scales to 0.35 Tons of TNT

Deathstroke scales to 1.7 Tons of TNT

Huh... an almost 5x AP advantage for Slade already (For reference, he upscales from Bats due to consistently being stronger than him). Ill be debating soon.
 
And now my debate.

Seems like most of John's gear are energy based, and if he attempts to do those moves, Slade will just take out his sword and absorb them, which increases the damage the sword does. Then he will just use said power to overpower John to potentially almost one-shot him due to the already high AP advantage Slade has.

And even when he does his shields, Deathstroke's AI will tell him the weakness of his shields to be to waste them to leave him open to attack while his shield regenerates. And if his sword was amped from earlier, he will break the shield easily. As for Bubble Shields, Slade can just walk right past them due to knowing this weakness said from his AI, and just straight-up finish it.

For Invisibility, his bombs will just scatter the entire area in hopes of hitting John. And if its a Concussive Disorientation Grenade, RIP. Illusions through Holograms wont really fool Slade, as he is aware it is fake due to detecting no heat, which his senses are supposed to do.

Will wait for counters.
 
Are we assuming John has Forerunner tech? That could cause issues.
 
Incineration Cannon is 8-A and the Binary Rifle disintegrates Spartans on contact, the latter can be used from kilometers away if comparable the UNSC Anti-Material.
 
Is that an energy weapon? Deathstroke just absorbs it through his sword. And as for the shield, it can deplete after enough strikes, since Deathstroke already knows the weakness of Chief's shields.
 
Incineration Cannon has AoE so absorbing it all would prove difficult and Chief can use camoflauge and thrusters for better vantage points against Slade.
 
Slade is not absorbing a shot from an 8-A gun. The moment it makes contact, the sheer energy would kill him and shatter his sword. As well overwhelm his absorbing. Less that thing can consistently absorb energy from tiers above him like 8-A. He ain't gonna absorb a shot from that. Especially AOE. Would be NLF to assume otherwise.
 
I updated it as that is right. Just not a rule I had to implement until now cause it didn't matter on any other round. but when I rematch this with full arsenal, that absorbing is a NLF
 
This may be very straight forward vote wise. Rip any sort of mess (less devil's advocate makes an entrance)

And he does. Using normal guns would work a lot better. But problem is he uses a lot more energy based stuff.
 
Are we at all sure Slade is going to win on the off chance he boosts his sword? First, he'd have to block SoL attacks from the Spartan Laser to do so and deal with Chief leaping around with his thrusters.

If he sees Slade absorbing shots he can use the Needler to circumvent this, the sword cannot absorb large solid objects and the following AoE explosion(s) the crystals produce will can potentially knock the weapon from his hand.

If close combat is necessary, the Gravity Hammer will be useful for its gravity shenanigans.
