Looking at the profile, Kars' Type 3 is actually pretty good, so I can see it stopping Phantom Form.

Ikki's Ittou amps won't really do much given Kars' regen, and while Kars has the range adventage, Ikki is used to fighting opponents that outrange him.

Hamon has NPI and can channel through both swords extremely well but also intagibles.

"Intangible" is a bad way to put it. Because it is not, it just phases through anything that's a person. Against any object it is very physical.

But again who the f puts a dude with a sword against High Mid?

So non-corporality then? Regardless, Stands are non-corporal, intangible and can phase through anything that isn't another Stand. So all the bases are kinda covered more or less.

No it's just "phasing". It basically just doesn't deal damage against the living. It's just pure phasing not a passive trait.
