Base Aizen is far stronger than people give him credit for.

I understand this is really long, so I'm gonna make a small resume of it. But I do encourage to read the whole thing, because I make more of enphasis on just how terryingly strong is Aizen in comparison to this guys. And explain exactly why, not just what I'm gonna mention next, but more.

The resume goes like this.

1. Unohana says that Ichigo (after the fight with Ulquiorra), that he had similar spiritual energy to her. She even notices and says that Ichigo had less than half of his total spiritual energy. Thus she is arguing herself being weaker than Ichigo Kurosaki in the Fake Karakura Town events.

2. Same Unohana was somewhat holding her own against Kenpachi after being released from his mental blocks. She tanked Kenpachi's attack , and was able to harm him . She was even with him while in her Bankai (1 , 2 ).

3. Ichigo with his spiritual energy fully was already stronger than Unohana. The gap is even further than that when Ichigo uses the mask. And even so, he couldn't do so much as see Aizen moving . He could barely cause an injury to Aizen with full head on Getsuga Tenshou , further more, Aizen was stopping Ichigo's strikes with his bare hands . Considering all that, and the fact the Kenpachi who did the feat was limiting himself, both Hollofied Ichigo and Aizen can easily scale to Kenpachi's feats.

Essentially, base Unohana was weaker than Ichigo in Fake Karakura events. Same Unohana could hold still somewhat fight against Kenpachi without his eye-patch. The difference in power between Ichigo and Unohana increases even further when he uses the mask. And the Kenpachi who did the feat was limiting himself with the eye-patch.

First off, Aizen was a top tier in Bleach since the beginning, that's commun knowledge. But how strong was Aizen while he was Shinigami?

In terms of Reiatsu, Aizen commented that the whole power of the Espadas was incredibly inferior to his own (1, 2), keep in mind Barragan, Starrk, Yammy and Harribel are able to fight against multiple Captain lvs by themselves at the same time and Aizen was even able to Soul Crush both Grimmjow and Soifo in different occasion. Heck, Aizen pretty much specify that he had at least 2 times the Reiatsu of a Captai. And the only ones who seemingly were able to compare with him were Kenpachi, Ichigo and Yamamoto Genryuusai. And I mean comparable not equal.

Ichigo Kurosaki, for example, was stated by Unohana (one of the strongest Captain of her generation) said to Ichigo that with less than half of his Reiatsu was comparable to a Captain and her ow. Meaning the Ichigo from Karakura Town city was stronger than Retsu Unohana, keep in mind, this is the same Unohana who obliterated Kenpachi during the Muken fight, and the same Unohana who was still somewhat keeping with Kenpachi after freeing all of his mental seals. So that means Ichigo in during the events of Fake Karakura Town was stronger than Unohana (doesn't speak of his Hollow form as it was still be barely half of his real power) although could be comparable. All is sure is the Ichigo from Fake Karakura Town was stronger than Unohana.

Yamamoto Genryuusai who was shown and stated that even two Captains didn't stood a chance in terms of comparing Reiatsu (1, 2). And he later even proves it when he completely crushes Wonderwise in terms of strength and power. Same Wonderwise who in turn defeated Kensei while using Bankai. More later on is seen as how he pretty much no sells Koko Gonryo Rikyu (Sasakibe's Bankai). Heck, just as shown in the fight with Wonderweiss he also suppressed the bursting flames of Ryuujin Jakka, which was going to completely destroy Karakura Town and more, yet he is still strong enough to hurt cast Hado 96, which is at the end of everything, which leaves him out of the fight, Hadou that Aizen took without much of an problem. More so he tanked those same flame, considering he can casually burn completely Sternritters, is very well shown just how ******* above them he was. Yamamoto was shown completely throwing back both Jushirou Ukitake and Shunsui Kyoraku to the point the two of them fell on their asses. Was also shown to be far faster than the two of them. So is very well shown Yamamoto was far above a Captain lv Shinigami.

And of course Kenpachi who in the Pre Timeskip was specified as even while wearing his seal was compared as having near equal Reiatsu to Byakuya before his fight with Ichigo, both Kaname and Komamura were being overwhelmed by Kenpachi's strength while still wearing his seal, and when his mental seals were finally lifted he was seen capable of killing Unohana while using Bankai, his Reiatsu was stated to not being able to be felt by his squad and neither Unohana (1, 2) nor Mayuri (1, 2) seemed to be able to detect his presence, a effect that we have only been confirmed before that happened with Ichigo and Rukia (Rukia couldn't feel any Reiatsu while in the same room as Ichigo). Meaning in the Pre Timeskip Kenpachi was at least high lv Captain. Unohana herself was a high lv Captain+. And in the Post Timeskip, Kenpachi is supposed in the novel Spirits Are Forever With You to be above Hollow Ichigo (The one who fought Ulquiorra), not much to say as Hollow Ichigo that fought Ulquiorra was stronger than the Ichigo who was compared to Retsu Unohana. Basically the scaling would be Hollow Ichigo (The one who fought Ulquiorra) > Timeskip Kenpachi Zaraki < Kenpachi Unohana < Ichigo (from Fake Karakura Town, keep in mind Ichigo is even stronger with his mask) <=> EoS Kenpachi Zaraki.

Of course, the difference between Kenpachi, Yamamoto, Aizen and current Ichigo is simply the fact Kenpachi can't control his, and is constantly bursting to the maximum lv. While Aizen, Ichigo and Yamamoto can lower it and rise when need it, perfectly controlling it (Aizen better than the other two). And technically he seemed to be confusing all the Captains during the Fake Karakura events considering they couldn't actually fight him sensing his Reiatsu, and Yamamoto himself needed to capture and grab Aizen to be sure. Of course, there is the problem of having so much overwhelming Reiatsu that people could see it like in Ichigo and Yamamoto's case. But Aizen never really raised his to the maximum like they did. In fact Aizen wasn't even rising his Reiatsu during the events of Fake Karakura Town. More importantly, the Reiatsu that can be seen, simply means that they were overflowing with Reiatsu more than their body could handle, considering Ichigo and Kenpachi at the beginning in the Soul Society Arc could also seemingly seemed to take form, and so did Yachiru's when she raised it a little. So is not necessarily so much as raising the Reiatsu or having it to the maximum, as it is simply overflowing from one's body. So we can't even argue Aizen to be weaker than any than this guys bia those terms.

In terms of strength, Aizen stabbed Yamamoto, who suppressed Ennetsu Jigoku, a technique more than comparable and likely higher than Gremmy's Meteor, in fact considering Yamamoto was taking the overflowing energy of his Bankai and it is calculated in the Teratons, is more than likely higher. He nearly cut Toshirou Hitsugaya in half, same Toshirou who was slapped into the floor by Kenpachi and was taking Gerard's attacks (1, 2), and before anyone even thinks of saying there being a huge difference between Pre Timeskip Captains and Post Timeskip Captains, there is nothing that suggest that, Hitsugaya's power up was training to obtain real Bankai and his matured state, and after that he trained to use better his Shikai, that's all there is to Hitsugaya's power ups, and while is true Kenpachi could have been holding back, there is no reason to say Gerard was. And Remember he also took out Komamura's Bankai with nothing but the air pressure of a casual slash.

And in terms of speed, he seems like he blitz behind Yamamoto, while in the anime is seems as if he had used his Kyoka Suigetsu to get behind Yamamoto, the problem with that is anime change a lot of stuff from the manga. For starters while Aizen and Yama star farther away from each other in the manga than in the anime, in the anime is shown as if Yamamoto had walked towards Aize, in the manga he simply seems like he turn off the flames. So I'm going with it was Aizen's speed which puts him behind Yamamoto. More so, there is the whole quickdraw both Aizen and Yamamoto had before Aizen had stab him, even though Yamamoto started attacking first. So Aizen is faster than Yamamoto for all it comes down to. And sure, there is whole "Yamamoto was aiming to get stabbed in order to confirm if the aizen he was fighting was real", but there are few problems in that plan. You see, saying "There is no mistaking the spiritual energy of the Zanpaku-to that has pierced my entrails.", and "I was waiting for you to stab me", is two different things. Like I said, there are too many things that could go wrong for Yamamoto to have planned that in the first place. Heck imagine if Aizen had decided to drop Kurohitsugi or something worse on his ass, what do you think would have happened then? Aizen stabs Yamamoto, Yamamoto used the moment to grab Aizen. That's it. His plan was to get Aizen and trap him, he used the heat of the moment to use it.

So Aizen is deffinetely close to Yamamoto in speed or maybe even above. Now let's also talk about the elephant on the room. The moment when Yamamoto grabs Aizen. We see one of the two hurt.

Who could it be? Well I'm inclined to go with Aizen. Does it affect the fact of Aizen being close to Yamamoto, no not really. Why? Well that's easy. I have been personally grabbed by people weaker than me, and I mean weaker in all lvs, strength, speed, everything, not gonna say who, just gonna say it was a woman. And by grabbing me hard the same way Yamamoto did to Aizen, I was bleeding. Sure, not a much as Aizen and the damage was simply superficial, but the difference between me and the chick that did it to me is not bigger than the difference between Yamamoto and Aizen, and she didn't went as deep as Yamamoto as she didn't do it intentional. So grabbing someone and making their arm bleed because their nails got in the skin doesn't mean Yamamoto was hugely stronger than Aizen. Specially when takes no damage from Itto Kaso. And no, we can't even say, Yamamoto was completely weakened by that explosion as we see the only real injury he got was his arms being burned down. It wasn't going to affect the Itto Kaso at all as at the beginning we see Yamamoto heavily breathing but after that he is talking normal. So in this one he was deffinetely expecting to get Aizen close and then use Itto Kaso on him. And more so, Aizen was lowering his guard during all of those events to give Ichigo a chance to hit him. Once again, we can't even argue for Aizen being weaker than Yamamoto.

And that was just part of it. Aizen was hugely strong but just how exactly? Well there is the fact that he did stab Yamamoto and no sold Yamamoto's Itto Kaso. And while Yamamoto and Aizen are very close in power, Aizen posses speed above Yamamoto, not even gonna touch upon strength, as there isn't enough basis to talk about it, but straight up we can say they are at least comparable, or even superior in terms of durability. Of course, both are more than likely stronger than Kenpachi (at least eye-patched version of himself). Zaraki is strong indeed, in the pre timeskip, by most of the whole arc he was above Ichigo until Ichigo fought Ulquiorra. Where Ichigo's Reiatsu becomes so high than with just less than half of his Reiatsu, he was comparable to Unohana's. Same Unohana who... well... destroyed Kenpachi during his muken fight. Why is this important when later on Kenpachi kills Unohana while using Bankai? Well, let's put this simple. True, Unohana was defeated while in Bankai but it was just a matter of better fighter at that point. They were still close enough to the point Unohana was even dodging Kenpachi and was fighting evenly with him (1, 2). Sure, there maybe a good difference between base Unohana and Bankai, except that base Unohana was still taking and giving against a full powered Kenpachi. So Unohana was still strong enough to hold her own against Kenpachi. Very interesting when that same Unohana was below this Ichigo as said before. So both are close enough hold their own against Kenpachi (Ichigo more than likely would do better). Ok, if base Unohana could still hold her own against a Kenpachi without any mental limits, and Ichigo was stronger than her in terms of Reiatsu without using the mask, then is more than likely both Hollowfied Ichigo (Fake Karakura Town version of himself) and Aizen are scalable to an eye-patched Kenpachi using nothing more than Shikai, in a casual swing of his sword. Specially when Aizen himself was capable of doing casually parrying that same Ichigo, and stopping him with nothing but his bare hands, and end up with nothing more than a scar in his shoulder after receiving a point blank Getsuga Tenshou from a Hollowfied Ichigo. Heck, Aizen himself said so, his abilities were already unequaled in the Soul Society.

Of course, Aizen does has a limit on how much can he pull off, and there are a bunch of none transcendentals that are stronger than him. For examples guys like Bankai Kenpachi (obvious reasons, cuts guys who could give him some trouble in Shikai with nothing but his air pressure), Ichibei Hyosube (he did keep up with Yhwach, whom cut a worn out Yamamoto in half), Yhwach (obviously), Yamamoto Shigekuni Genryuusai (not a huge gap though), and Ichigo Kurosaki at the end of the series (their full power in comparison to Aizen's own). This one was only Shinigami Aizen though, Chrysalis Aizen and up to his Hollow/Monster form are far stronger than this, easily way stronger than Yamamoto and Yhwach (before he absorbed the Reio), but below FGT Ichigo. Hollowfied Ichigo (the one who fought Yhwach), is easily as strong as Reio Yhwach, and stronger than EoS Aizen. Bankai Ichigo (EoS), is far stronger than Yhwach (to the point he literally one-shot him), and of course stronger than any version of Aizen, and EoS Aizen is only below Reio Yhwach and EoS Ichigo Kurosaki.

I just skimmed through this, but what are you getting at? You want Aizen to be upgraded or something?

@KuuIchigo

Something like that. Bleach characters are actually stronger than their profile give credit for. Such as Ulquiorra's calcs being calculated by fragmentation and such, even though the given feats obviously calls for at least pulverization. And so on.

Well, you're going to have to tell us what you think is wrong with the profile and provide scans instead of posting a wall of text that people are probably not going to read.

And you're going to have to convince our calculators about the calcs.

@KuuIchigo

The calculation can come later. But the problem is, if you actually check the links, Unohana's own words about how Fake Karakura Ichigo is stronger than her. base Unohana was still taking and giving attacks from Kenpachi after being fully awekened. The Kenpachi who causes the destruction of the meteor was a limited Kenpachi. And Ichigo was way stronger with his Hollow Mask. So even if Kenpachi's real power is above the Ichigo from Fake Karakura Town, the gap is enclosed when Ichigo uses the mask and Kenpachi puts his eye-patch at minimum, even possibly arguing on how Hollowfied Ichigo is easily stronger than the Kenpachi who destroys the meteor. Same Ichigo was being stopped cold by Aizen with his bare hands. And when used his mask he leaves nothing but a superficial scar on Aizen's body. So Aizen is easily stronger than eye-patched Kenpachi.

@ProfessorKukui4Life

How so? Unohana herself said Ichigo without the mask and with less than half of his Reiatsu was close to her, making a full Reiatsu Ichigo stronger than her and further with the mask. Same Unohana could hold her own against unpatched Kenpachi (she caused less damage to him, but could still take his attacks), and further more with her own Bankai, so much she was stright up matching him in every stroke. As I said above: the Kenpachi who causes the destruction of the meteor was a limited Kenpachi. And Ichigo was way stronger with his Hollow Mask. So even if Kenpachi's real power is above the Ichigo from Fake Karakura Town, the gap is less when Ichigo uses the mask and Kenpachi puts his eye-patch at minimum, even possibly arguing on how Hollowfied Ichigo is easily stronger than the Kenpachi who destroys the meteor. Same Ichigo was being stopped cold by Aizen with his bare hands. And when used his mask he leaves nothing but a superficial scar on Aizen's body. So Aizen is easily stronger than eye-patched Kenpachi.

What I got from all of this, "Base Aizen and Ichigo during that battle are around Shikai Yamamoto and Bankai Unohana's level?" Are you asking for an upgrade base on Unohana's own statement?

@AppleLord

Well yes, but actually is based on Unohana's statement, Ichigo from Fake Karakura Town is above her, and even further with the mask, while Aizen is superior to the two of them and at the very least superior to eye-patched Kenpachi. And the Kenpachi who performs the feats is Kenpachi lowering his power with the eye-patch. That's why Shinigami Aizen is easily scalable to them.

Unohana never said Ichigo was on her level. She said with his full robe he was comparable to a captains. Not a senior captain, just a normal captain. Unohana is on another level from Ichigo. If he really was at senior captain level he wouldn't have been blitzed by Aizen so easily

Similar as in, Ichigo is on captain level. If he was the same level as Unohana and the other senior captains he would have done much better against Aizen

@Amlad22

Unohana is not comparing Ichigo with a Captain, she is comparing him with her own.

Similar
And no, Aizen was simply that much more stronger. Heck, Yamamoto who on his prime maintained in check all of the rest of the Captain including but not limited to Oetsu Nimaiya, Tenjiro Kirinji and Retsu Unohana, was going to sacrifice himself to kill Aizen. That's just how much of a threat he was deemed at the time. So, Ichigo with less than half of his Reiatsu was considering similar to Unohana, meaning is more than likely Ichigo with his Reiatsu at the maximum is superior to her, and even more than that while he was using his Hollow Mask. Same Unohana was still holding her own again Unpatched Kenpachi was still taking and giving. So is more than likely a Hollowfied Ichigo is close in power to a unpatched Kenpachi. With all that, Aizen is more than scalable to a patched Kenpachi's casual feat.

She only said their reiatsu is similar. Ichigo is known for having a huge pool of reaitsu and Unohana was one of the people who noticed this. She would still stomp him though cause she is superior in every possible category. Ichigo struggled against 1st release Ulquiorra who shouldn't be too far above Nnoitra who lost to Kenny. The same Kenny that got stomped with ease by a serious Unohana. The same would happen to Ichigo. He is in no way comparable to Unohana especially since he's only at the level of an espada (not even the top 3)

Yamamoto wasn't going to sacrifice himself to kill Aizen, he showed that he could tank his ennetsu jikou. He only said he would sacrifice himself to scare Aizen

@Amlad22

You forget the power up Ichigo got with his inner Hollow which was enough to destroy Ulquiorra in his Segunda Etapa in a one-sided beatdown, and after that he went inside Las Noches again, he was strong enough to literally stop cold Yammy's attacks and cut his balas with nothing but a sword slash, Yammy was stronger than at least Resurreccion Ulquiorra. And you are ignoring the fact that when Unohana compare the two of them Ichigo had less than half of his Reiatsu. And Ichigo can become even stronger than that with his mask, so a fight between Fake Karakura Ichigo and Unohana wouldn't go to Unohana at all. Unohana calling him their best chance and all that.

Yamamoto never got to use Ennetsu Jigoku, he only tanked the burst of the flames that he had created and where sealed inside of Wonderweiss, the real technique was suppose to kill the two of them. And after that we see Aizen emerge unharmed from Hado 96, Itto Kaso that Yamamoto had created himself. Which ended putting Yamamoto out of the fight.

And in the same fight, Yammy only took a small gash from Hollow Ichigo, and then Ichigo was quickly dispatched regardless. Also, Yammy being stronger than the top 4 is ridiculous considering Byakuya and Kenpachi both casually slaughtered him while Stark could take on stronger captains and come out on top.

Unohana's statement is moot as it is later revealed that she is much stronger than we were made to believe. She ends up being the strongest shinigami at the time outside of Yamamoto himself.

"Similar" could also mean a few other things. Ichigo, being half shinigami has similar reishi such as Unohana, yet he is simply unable to utilize it effectively. Also, that itself supports that Ichigo is unable to fight at his full capacity anyways (especially since it is later revealed that his shinigami powers gradually faded since he first unlocked them).

@CinCameron20

1. Yammy took a small cut from a casual Hollofied Getsuga Tenshou from Ichigo. Kenpachi was getting stronger at the time, and he won by taking off his eye-patch. Byakuya was also a competent Captain with a really powerful Bankai. The two of them were faster and had the DC to take out Yammy. Yammy simply had a poor choice of opponent and even after that we see how both Kenpachi and Byakuya had bad injuries. And in terms of Raw power Kenpachi was a top Captain. The onlyones who could be argued stronger were Unohana, Yamamoto and Komamura's Bankai at the time. So Yammy losing to them doesn't lower the fact how strong was Ichigo at the time. And you can't even argue for them to "casual" defeat Yammy considering the whole fight was off-panel. And considering their injuries, we can argue for them having a really hard time against Yammy.

2. The fact that we found how strong was Unohana after that just rises more the statement she gave before about how strong was Ichigo. She ends up being only one of the strongest Captains of the Gotei 13 at the time. Nothing more, nothing less.

3. Similar "resembling without being identical". There is no other meanings or interpretation to her saying to Ichigo "We are similar in spiritual energy." She was saying in terms of energy they were close at the time. And later she even notices just how good that was. Going so far as saying "...he may really be our savior!" Is obvious she was considering him really strong at the time. And we saw how weak in comparison to Aizen that Ichigo was.

I have not followed this discussion closely, but if it is reliant on backwards scaling, we explicitly try to avoid that.

I will inform LordAizenSama about this thread.

@Antvasima

Not so much on backwards scaling as in direct statements from Unohana, saying Ichigo with less than half of his Reiatsu was similar to her. From there we can guess the Ichigo from Fake Karakura Town was more than likely stronger, same Unohana was holding her own somewhat against Unpatched Kenpachi (after lifting all of his mental blocks), and she was stright up matching him with Bankai. Ichigo while Hollowifed (in fake Karakura Town), is more than likely comparable to Kenpachi with his eye-patch, and Aizen was ******** on him. That's what I'm saying Aizen can scale from.

Well, as far as I am aware, we generally do not scale power levels from earlier story arcs to power levels from later story arcs in shonen manga.

Either way, City level low end to high end is a 1:16 ratio. Ichigo would still be City level.

Ulquiorra's Cero is scaled from Pulverization to be 9 Megatons of tnt, which is lower end City level. Ichigo would have to be more than 10 times stronger than that to reach the border of Mountain level, which is DEFINITELY not the case.

Even if we take the crater that you pointed out (which we should since that's the actual feat), the value would still be in the lower half of City level. I got 36 Megatons of Tnt. The only problem is that i can't find the exact depth for it.

Unohana's character was not in any fights until fighting Zaraki. It doesn't make sense why she was sitting out during the Espada/Aizen fight, and the first Quincy invasion.

We can't directly scale Ichigo to current Unohana due to such a statement. And why do you think she didn't get a power-up? All of the Shinigami received strong power-ups post time-skip.

@CinCameron20

You do realize calculations is just based on damage caused by something or someone, is not really their true power. And using vaporization it ends in small island/large city lv. And we are actually using simply scaling we are gonna end up with smaller calcs of what they really got. Remember Las Noches is soo big it requires 3 days to walk to the neares door from where Ichigo and his group was.

As for Ichigo being stronger, let's put it this way. Hollowfied Ichigo with less than half of his Reiatsu was capable of completely obliterate Ulquiorra with a normal Cero. Heck going further than that, he was not just bisecting him in half but he literally supressed Lanza del Relampago (Ulquiorra's strongest techniques, which he himself said he wanted to be nowhere near the explosion) with nothing but his naked hand. The Ichigo from Fake Karakura Town (with his mask) is far above the Hollow that destroyed Ulquiorra. And he was nowhere near close to Aizen. Being there an inmense gap between Ulquiorra, Hollowfied Ichigo (Las Noches), Hollowfied Ichigo from Fake Karakura Town and Aizen. Each one of them was so frickingly stronger than the other to the point they couldn't even do than scratch them or see them move.

More so, Ichigo's Getsuga Tenshou and the Cero are specified in the manga, as concentrated spirtual energy attacks. In others worlds their size and the destruction they will cause is nowhere near to their real power. Komamura has a feat calculated in town lv for his Shikai, said feats was literally nothing but the shockwave of the pressure of his attack being stopped by Aizen. Limiting their power ranks by the destruction they cause is ridicoul when is nowhere near to their true power.

And if anyone remember, Komamura being more than scalable to Ulquiorra's Black Cero with his Bankai, was cut down with nothing but the air pressure of Aizen's sword.

Well, illogical as it may be, most characters constantly grow more powerful from storyarc to storyarc within shonen manga. We cannot make an exception for some of them. Regardless, we are not going to perform any upgrades until LordAizenSama or KuuIchigo have replied and agree.

Also, the staff are extremely busy. We do not have the time to read walls of text. You will have to learn to summarise your points to get any results.

@Antvasima

It is not illogical if Unohana had been stated as becoming stronger. But we know for a fact she had given up in the use of the sword totally, so there is no way for her to becoming physically stronger. Same with Yamamoto who became weaker after the lost of his arm. Shunsui, Ukitake, etc, are either too lazy or too sick to argue for them to become stronger. Etc. In the timeskip the only actual beings who became stronger and are stated to are, Kenpachi (explained through the novel and in the manga as of how), Hitusgaya (not stated to become physically stronger but said to have completeted his bankai), and such. Not all power ups are like Zaraki or Byakuya who became stronger than in the past.

@CinCameron20

She had given up in the use of the sword and decided to strictly heal and be a medic. Unohana was shown simply waiting during the first invasion. She is not the type that goes to train nor it was stated or implied she having a power up. We can't just assume everyone got a power up when evidence and the shown speaks the contrary.

@King Raita Do not spam the page with long quotes. Use the "@" sign instead.

@King Raita

The post timeskip upgrades is a subject that I don't understand as well. Obviously characters like Kenpachi and Toshiro and even Byakuya and Soifon would all get stronger. But why are characters like Yamamoto upgraded? Look at it like this

Reasons for why Yamamoto wouldn't get stronger:

-He is out of his prime and continues to age

-He has never been shown to train and was stated by Yhwach to be ridiculously overconfident in his powers at the level they were already at

-He also lost his left arm

However the wiki completely disregards this and says that pre timeskip Yamamoto can't get upgraded because of the assumption that timeskips always make characters stronger.

Yeah that always bugged me. Not just Yamamoto but also pre-time-skip Kyoraku, Ukitake, Unohana should be the same as their post-time-skip selves since they're all old even by Shinigami standards and should have stayed the same level. But the fact is, besides one MHS Uryu feat (which is not accepted by this wiki for some reason), we have nothing else to bump the pre-skip characters up to MHS plus no feats at 7-A (other than from transcended Aizen and Ichigo). You're going to have to take up the pre-skip stat issue with one of the knowledgeable members.

Note: Don't go and constantly bug them about this.

I'll ask a member about the topic and see why they haven't been upgraded. There isn't a single reason that I can think of to why they wouldn't be upgraded but I might not be thinking of everything

Keep in mind that they're going to be busy with not only other stuff on this wiki but also with real life stuff. Ask them politely but don't bug them about it on and on. Or you can simply make a thread requesting the upgrade. Although another Bleach upgrade thread would be a bother, it's better than personally bugging the staff.

Well, I did not decide the standard of gradually scaling all characters as stronger for later storyarcs. Other staff members did. However, it is best if you ask LordAizenSama, KuuIchigo, and Kkapoios for input here regarding the issue. You can tell them that I would appreciate the help.

I'll make sure to ask politely and give them as much time as they need.

Antvasima, should I make a thread on this or just ask?

You inform them about this thread on their message walls, by providing a link.
