BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

in soul society the sun is shown several times. i don't understand the distance between seiretei and the king's palace so high because the characters in the hole of seiretei don't see the sun
 
Saw some more scans of Uryu vs Ichigo.
Uryu’s Vollständig looks different from when he used it against Senjumaru. This time he also has reishi gloves and boots on. So I think he might’ve used the Sklaverei Vollständig against True Shikai Ichigo and not the normal Vollständig. Also it seems like he matched True Shikai Ichigo’s Getsuga Jujisho. So it seems like

Sklaverei Vollständig Uryu (Post-Almighty) >= True Shikai Ichigo > 2nd Invasion Base Yhwach

You just clearly don’t understand my calc. As you insist on spouting falsehoods about them. Stop asserting things as fact when you don’t know what you’re talking about 🗿 no one said you can’t see the sun in Seireitei. Ofc you can see the sun in Seireitei, it’s a big giant yellow ball in the sky. My Reiokyu calc is based upon how close Reiokyu is to the sun, compared to how close Seireitei is to the sun.
 
A slightly more intriguing question; what do you think some of the Bleach character's domain expansions would be like?

Tosen's would be exactly like his Shikai of course, but others would be more interesting.

For Aizen, I bet it would start off as a white featureless void - but the victim instantly falls under the sure-hit effect of Aizen's Perfect Hypnosis so he can make his domain look like whatever he wants for each person inside it.

Mask's would probably be a wrestling wring filled with James as the spectators cheering him on, and if he gets up on the second to last count of the bell, he gets an even bigger power up

But uh most characters would stay the same. Any ability that affects a wide area like Unohana, Shinji, Kisuke, Shunsui, etc could transfer over to domains. And judging by the breadth of examples I thought of off the top of my head, that describes a fair amount of em.

Well, if it was set in Bleach, the Curses would be Hollows, the sorcerers would be a special type of human akin to Quincy, and Sukuna's gang would be Arrancar. I imagine he'd be on par with Coyote Starrk.

Were it set in JJK, a lot of Bleach characters would still be CRAZY strong in comparison to JJK characters, due to the negative emotion shit.

I imagine any Zanpakuto user would have an incredibly similar Domain Expansion.

That's because the sun doesn't reside with the Reiokyu, or are you misunderstanding that Arc doesn't claim people within the Seireitei can't perceive the sun, but rather can't perceive the Reiokyu - which is massively smaller and further away from the sun, so it makes sense why they can't see it given the optical resolution limit of humans as explained in the calculation itself? I genuinely don't understand what exactly your contention is with the calculation. Maybe you meant something else from these two examples, but your inability to type coherent English sentences is making it hard to know what you disagree with specifically.

may i know why the distance seiretei and king palace is so high? i am bad at english and i am just asking because i would like to use this calculation to use bleach speed

It's so high because the Reiokyu is much closer to the sun compared to the Seireitei, which results in the distance between the two being massive.
 
As you get closer to objects, their apparent size increases. The apparent size of the sun in Reiokyu is far larger than in Seireitei. Therefore, Reiokyu is closer to the sun than Seireitei. Mathematicians far smarter than I came up with formulas to calculate all that jazz, I simply plugged the numbers in and got the result, which turned out to be the distance. Since the sun is so far away from Seireitei, being a lot closer to the sun makes you super far from the Seireitei.

It didn't do much because his opponent was Zaraki, who had both the insane battle instinct to dodge and make the blows miss his internal organs on top of having such godly stamina/pain tolerance that all those deep cuts didn't do jack.

And also because Tosen is a jackass that doesn't go for the head on the first strike. Blame the stand user, not the stand

Yamamoto's Domain Expansion would be putting someone inside of the sun, or a sun-esque ball of fire
