He doesn't even necessarily need to escape. He can just hit him repeatedly until Ace releases him.
He should be able to. He's a very dangerous combatant up close, and can outpace grown adults with ease at his age. He also fought plenty of animals to have enough agility to get around slippery foes.

Ace might end him by just catching an arm or an ankle- and Ace should have at least similiar stamina to young Luffy, who got beaten up by spiked gloves for hours on end and remained conscious. Even if Austin tries breaking out with melee he might flat out get outlasted.
Ace might just accidentally use conquers haki and look at austin as he foams from the mouth.

I do concede on the fact that Ace can outlast here if given the chance. If Ace tries catching an arm, Theory responds by attacking him with his other arm. Ace tries grabbing an ankle, Theory uses his other leg to kick him off. It's as simple as that.
