Another Dark Souls Upgrade

No, but the first flame itself may be because at the end of dark souls 3 it caused time to end.

Plus this isn't the only time the first flames missed up time: the old iron king dlc takes place in a castle frozen in time by the fire, the dark souls time line is constantly shifting and changing due to the flame.

Does the universe cease to exist?

All of time collapsed in on itself, the ending of dark souls 3 has multiple kingdom bending in on themselves.

I do not think that seems to be quantifiable, unless the universe ceased to exist.

Then it should atleast have time/space manipulation, but there is other times when it says all of time ends, like at the end of the dlc.

Ok, but should it have the time/space stuff, because there are many times when time is messed with in the series.

I agree with The Everlasting.

But was he referring to everything or just the universe ending? Many things in the dark souls world have missed up time: Manus, the old ivory king, every time you invade your going through space and time to kill someone.

The flow of time being convoluted in the world of Dark Souls isn't caused by anything from what I recall. It just... is.

Plus the world is definitely not how it should be in the dark souls 3 ending (unless all kingdoms lean on a 50 degree angle).

Given that light is fundamentally inseperable from time in Dark Souls, and the sun is the source of light (and thus time as the denizens of the Dark Souls world know it), and is directly connected to the First Flame, it's safe to say that the First Flame dying and causing the sun to go haywire is the reason why time is so convoluted in Dark Souls.

So should we close this thread?
