I've updated the blog with a second table that uses values obtained from using the areas of various cities, countries, and oceans as the area for the storm.

Antvasima suggests moving the contents to an instruction page, or to the wiki nagivation bar. I think this could use all the input it can get.

I agree. Putting this in with the earthquake power chart and explosion radius blog is a good idea.

Since alot of characters are being scaled off from the storms they created recently, it would be viable to move it to the instruction page.

I was about to suggest the same thing, DRB. The Calculations Introduction and References page was built for this sort of thing.
