All Purpose Dragon Ball Thread

Sometimes it seems like you don't know how to read Omega, I'm saying that Dragon Ball Daima is canon for super anime and super manga.

Sometimes just reading the comment one more time will help you a lot with these things.
... Me knowing that is what you were arguing was exactly why i answered what i did

man, i will really, really really, love more concrete proof of the afterlife being a separate space and time, not just pure mentioning, and is not that hard, just show that clocks don't work there and thats it.
The afterlife is a separate dimension from the Universe, there is no need for a clock to be shown there, although there is a statement within the manga and outside that the afterlife has a different time.

This is an amazing thread sharing a recent interview with Toriyama's three editors, it reveals stuff that was thought to be myths, shared more of Toriyama style of "doing things as he reached that point" and how the story was completely fluid by whatever Toriyama was thinking in any given week. It's a fun read.

Kazenshuu might share a complete translation later on.

DBZ ending at the Cell saga would explain:
  • Cell being a combination of all the previous major villains (Piccolo, Vegeta, Frieza and King Cold) and the main protagonist (Goku), which proves Cell being the embodiment of everything Dragon Ball was at that point, and Gohan maturing from being an useless whiny kid to the hero that to save the world, had to surpass everything else that appeared before (in the form of Cell), showing that his potential was both in strength and his narrative.
  • Vegeta dropping fighting entirely after the Cell saga, given that he realized that fighting is useless and everything he stood for was an illusion that he can never reach.
  • Goku was supposed to be permanently dead, given his speed at the end of the arc of him wanting to stay dead, as the narrative wanted Gohan to fully take his place. I'd suggest to watch this video that debunks entirely the myth of "fans forced Toriyama to make Goku go back" with a great deal of evidence, as it was all on Toriyama's own will and he is the one who backtracked back on Goku, because fans objectively loved Gohan and had no reason to hate him, especially after his development. Not to mention that Goku was already a complete character, he had no reason to keep to stay there as the protagonist (until Super dumbed him down so that he could develop again).
  • Why the manga drawings of the Buu saga are of an awful quality. Compared to the previous arcs, they're rushed and simplified (thankfully the anime carried the saga with far better frames), a sign that Toriyama wasn't as invested as before.

Imagine freestyling for most of your story, and the story still be one the most popular anime of all time.

It does explain on how the Buu Saga best moments are peak, and the worst momentos are kinda trash. Toriyama simples enjoy doing one thing, over the other.

It's an arc after Majin Buu … it's Akira Toriyama's plot
Again, like Dragon Ball Online, right? Or Neko Majin?
there's still the fact that there's no adaptation for the manga ( the same thing happened with the Broly movie )
So? Broly is an explicitly canonical entry in the Super canon; in fact, like with Resurrection 'F', V-Jump includes the Anime Film Comic in its recommended reading order.
I was thinking since yesterday, Trunks' timeline, the one where Goku died of a heart attack and all the other Z warriors, there was no one to stop Gomah from being the king of the demons and since Dabura ended up kicking the bucket for Trunks, so Gomah continued to enslave the demon race until his death ( since neither Goku or Vegeta was there )
You are assuming Future Gomah and present day Gomah are in identical circumstances, but considering Babidi and Dabura do not take siege upon Earth until twenty-one years after they do in the original timeline, what happens between then and Dabura's death for Gomah is completely unknowable. Gomah could have been killed, or replaced, or demoted.

Tbf most Battle Shonen series are like this, JoJo is a prime example

except that it is contradictory, because the only statements is a vague mention of "there is no time in the afterlife"(which can just mean that they are ageless do to being dead already)

Then they would've said that there is no aging in the afterlife if that was their point. It's pretty blatant what it's trying to imply

no is not, you know why? because It is the afterlife, and even then, Goku got tired from using ssj3 even when he was in the afterlife

So, you know that last episode of Dragon Ball Daima that got a 9.9? Solo leveling fans They are pressing on notes 1 to lower the Dragon Ball Daima rating with about 500 fake accounts and Dragon Ball Daima fans started attacking solo leveling giving 1 star to the episode and it already has 700 votes 🤣🤣
