All Purpose Dragon Ball Thread

Can't the Kamehameha just be higher than his reaction speed? It focuses all of the Body's Ki in one point after all
Anime had Goku jump after it had already fired and keep pace with it.
Which turns out to be completely different from the manga which had it fire after Goku's jump and left it ambiguous whether he ever kept up with it or not.

Still he did slightly react to it given he was able to raise his fingers to his forehead when it was like super duper close to him, and given how IT's portrayed everywhere else, I'm still a bit skeptical on it.

In the anime, it's also depicted as a sun,

Genuine question, is there any verse that can beat or at least compete with DB when it comes to finite numbers?

what are the issues with it, I'm curious. Is it the nap length?
The funny thing is, the more we increase the nap length the slower Piccolo becomes because it means it took him longer and longer to catch up to Gotenks.

rookie numbers xD

I just saw the multiplier they wanted to apply to it.

Piccolo is definitely much, much slower than Gotenks considering the latter even looped his way down the lookout and Piccolo, even while seemingly flying straight down at him, couldn't keep up with him.

The anime seems to suggest that Gotenks spent most of that chase sleeping, and spent only a couple seconds actually flying around the earth, so.... yeah Piccolo's flight speed really isn't all that.

I wonder how fast Raditz is when dodging Piccolo's SPC
I was going to calc that at one point but never got around to it. Would be calc stacking, but would be interesting to see the results still.

Kid Goku had a similar feat with Earth DBs. Pretty sure it was rejected because it was argued Dragon Balls accelerated through their journey, so the same can be argued here.
Acceleration really isn’t an argument or travel speed feats unless we want to **** every MFTL+ statistic in the wiki ( that we definitely should imo)

It no longer would be “well they react to their max flight speeds”, wrong, they react to their peak acceleration at a distance of 1 meters for a punch which for even 100,000,000 times FTL travel speeds its barely a supersonic feat.

Reading through Daizenshuu 6, and apparently, Mecha Warriors are made up of types with "fully mechanical bodies" and "others whose organic bodies have been revived through the use of machinery", even using the term fukkatsu—implying resurrection from death—which I think explains why 17 and 18 lack Ki despite having the biological functions of a normal, organic human; even though their (presumably previously deceased) bodies are reanimated due to being remodeled at the cellular level and equipped with mechanical components, and they have their souls, they lack life energy entirely because they are fundamentally zombies and are not technically considered "alive". I want to say it also supports them not being able to feel pain like the fully mechanical Androids because official supplementary material explicitly claims that 17 and 18 do not feel pain, but the DBS anime has 18 twist her ankle and audibly cry "Ow!" and continue to feel pain from it going forward, so **** me I guess.

Or maybe "organic bodies [being] revived through the use of machinery" just refers to Dr. Wheelo's brain piloting a mecha body or Cooler's head merging with the Big Gete Star, which is not how revival usually works and is only part of the organic body, but whatever.
